RB Joe Cowen, Linden HS

Cowen has been on a tear this season and has been amongst the states leading rushers. He has rushed for 1,0006 yards and 9 touchdowns while averaging 6.8 yards per carry in the first half of the season.

RB [player_tooltip player_id='384762' first='Charles' last='Brown'], Antioch HS

Brown is one of the top offensive weapons in Northern California and is a very effective pass catcher but can also run tough in-between the tackles especially for his size. He has rushed for 1,004 yards while averaging 9 yards per carry with another 9 touchdowns on the ground.

RB Andrew Camarillo, Orosi HS

Camarillo is only a Junior and has erupted in the first half of the season for 900+ yards and 11 touchdowns for the small school power. He has without a doubt established himself as one of the better backs the valley has to offer.

RB Ryker Peters, Escalon HS

Peters is the heart of the Escalon offense that is loaded with maulers across the OL and RB room and athletic receivers with length on the outside. Peters is a tough to tackle, downhill back with some wiggle and open field speed. He has already rushed for 884 yards and 16 touchdowns and Escalon is the favorite to win their section and should make a legit run at a state title this season.

WR [player_tooltip player_id='195559' first='Matt' last='Long'], Vista del Lago HS

Long is one of the better playmakers across the section and has put together a 700+ yard receiving season already as Vista looks to be one of the top teams across the region with an explosive and high scoring offense and physical defense. Long is used in many ways outside and in the slot, but poses as a mismatch nightmare anywhere he lines up.

WR Jeremiah Bernard, Modesto Christian HS

Bernard is another 700+ yard receiver already with 9 touchdowns for Modesto Christian. This is a pretty loaded roster for a small school and they have two legit D-I prospects that are having big seasons so far.

WR [player_tooltip player_id='384898' first='Jackson' last='Harris'], Berkley HS

Harris is one of the top pass catchers across the NCS and is a long and rangy kid that can win at the POA with highpoint ability and strong hands when making contested catches downfield. He has 635 yards receiving at the midway point in the season and has been very effective after the catch.

Quarterbacks

QB Marino Fragata, Johansen HS

Fragata is well over the 2,000 yard mark at only 5 game into the season and has thrown 26 touchdowns to 8 interceptions so far.

QB [player_tooltip player_id='282771' first='Tanner' last='Wilson'], Sunnyside HS

Wilson is one of the top young passers across the state, and what he can do with both his arm and running abilities is very impressive. He has a loaded and very young receiver room with multiple D-I caliber kids on the Sunnyside offense and shows a strong arm, high football IQ and pocket awareness for his age. So far this season in 5 games played, he has thrown for 1,706 yards and 19 touchdowns to only 4 INT's.

QB Anthony Mahaffey, El Dorado HS

Mahaffey is a next level quarterback and has the frame to continue to pack on more weight as he finishes up his high school career and moves onto college. Standing at 6'4" and some change, he has ripped it for 1,500 yards and 20 touchdowns while throwing 7 picks.
