2025 D-linemen out of Concordia Prep leads the state with 8 sacks. He’s had 2 games in a row with 3 sacks to help the defending champs defeat opponents 69-25. On the season so far, he recorded 19 tackles, 12 TFL’s, and 3 forced fumbles. Concordia Prep has a pair of young d-linemen who are making a name for themselves and may be leading the class as two of the best linemen in c/o 2025.
AJ Anderson
Anderson is currently the #7 DL in the class of 2025 and is showing why he’s ranked. AJ currently has 7.5 sacks through 5 games. Already at 6’3 205lbs Anderson is looking to be a pretty promising prospect. He’s a young weapon who is being developed in a great DL room, expect to see a lot more from Anderson in the near future.
Sahir West
I had the opportunity to watch West at the IAA Skills camp over the summer, and the 1on1s and crisp drills are translating. He’s making a major impact in for Mount St. Joseph. He has a strong build at 6’3 210lbs, is explosive, fast and hits with power. He currently has 7 sacks, 31 total tackles, 1 forced fumble, and 1 Int TD through 3 games. Programs should be on alert to put West on their recruiting boards.
Stewart is one of the best DL in the entire state, in his first game he recorded 3 sacks to help Friendship to a 22-6 win. Stewart has a total of 7 sacks through 4 games. He’s a very impressive prospect, fast off the edge with great size. Stewart could walk on to campus and make an immediate impact on the next level.
Dajohn Short
Short is a 6’1 190lb athlete out of Joppatowne HS. In his first game this season he recorded 3 sacks to help lead the Mariners to a 38-0 win. Short currently has 6 sacks, 15 hurries,19 total tackles and 1 blocked punt through 4 games. Dajohn is a DE and WR for Jopptowne, he has good size and athleticism, can chase down ball carriers outside the tackles and has the ball skill to make plays on offense.
