Going into his senior season, he is finally getting the attention he deserves after two fantastic seasons. He currently has offers from Yale, Army, Lehigh, Cornell, Buffalo, and Temple. Glover is a talented tight end who is excellent at catching the ball and blocking. He has a bright future, and the offers should continue to roll in.

His ability to run routes and create separation is exceptional. He has wide receiver skills in a tight end’s body. He also has excellent hands, as he catches the ball well in between defenders. He is also a good blocker who blocks on the edge well. He has an offer from Old Dominion already, but I expect more offers to come his way. I think several Division 1 programs should eventually show some interest in Glover.

Lo and behold, he got a scholarship offer this week from Old Dominion. It is well deserved and the 1st of many. Glover is a difference maker as a tight end, a pass catcher, and a blocker. He does a great job of creating separation and catching the ball between defenders. Glover is a talented player who can do it all at the tight end position. I expect many colleges to get involved in his recruiting.

He is a good blocker who shows excellent strength at the point of attack when he blocks. He does a good job of blocking edge defenders or linebackers. Then, in the passing game, he is a difference maker. His ability to run routes and catch the ball is just as good as most receivers. Glover should eventually get an offer, but it is long overdue.

We represented Wilson’s Michael Glover Michael Glover 6'3" | 223 lbs | TE Wilson-West Lawn | 2027 State PA at this event as he is, a tight end, a great one at that. Glover got the chance to get some individual work in, specifically at his future collegiate position. All this being said, I wanted to evaluate Glover from an athletic perspective, watching him work against DBs, watching him open up his stride in space would allow me to get an idea of Glover’s pass-catching abilities, specifically whether or not he can separate against quick DBs.

I was able to watch Glover run routes against much smaller/quicker DBs. To my pleasure and anticipation, Glover was not over-matched athletically. I was able to capture some promising reps showing off Glover’s long speed and stride. Glover using his strength to not be knocked off routes, Glover’s strong hands, these are all traits you can witness on tape. I wanted to see his long speed work, I wanted to see Glover explode out of his breaks, hip sinks, all areas that if proficient, would have Power Fours calling in an instant. I personally feel like I saw what I needed to see. This is an FBS-caliber tight end that needs to stay patient in terms of recruiting push. His time will come. Great build/physique, not too heavy where his athleticism is hampered, strong enough to align in the trenches and battle for space against backers and safeties. I came away pleased with Glovers’ overall performance.

His route running and ability to get open are special. Glover constantly showed the ability to run excellent routes and catch the ball. He has outstanding hands as he can catch anything thrown in his vicinity. His ability to catch the ball, especially in one-on-ones, is excellent. Glover is a legit tight end who is in line for an even bigger season this year.

However, the thing I really want to see is how is he gonna do against some of the best every play? We know he’s athletic, we know he has the receiving ability, but if he is running routes, having fun, and flying around out there he will be a name everyone will remember.

As a tight end, he can be overlooked, but he is a weapon in the passing game for Wilson. In Friday night’s win over Central York, Glover showed out big time. He had 5 catches for 117 yards and two touchdowns. Wilson needed Glover as he made several big catches to secure the win. Wilson also plays well at defensive end and is a good blocker at tight end. Glover continues to play at a high level for Wilson.

He has caught 17 passes and 2 touchdowns on the year as a tight end. He has also been a good blocker for Wilson as well. He can move around and block all over the field. Glover is a beast at tight end.

Last Friday, from his tight end position, he caught 8 passes for 132 yards. Glover is a tough matchup for most linebackers or defensive backs. He has the speed and the catch radius to make most plays from his tight-end position. Glover should continue to grow as a weapon in the passing game for Wilson.
