The Eagles have remained a force on a competitive landscape – with a pair of state final appearances to go along with winning seasons and the development of some impressive football talent.
With Cameron Duke calling the shots along with a quality staff, this is a team that gets it. Play an average schedule and nobody will notice you and there is a good chance that your season will come to an end early. But play teams that are among the best in their respective areas and you gran your share of the spotlight.
With 8A state runner up Apopka coming up this Friday at home, this is a program that remained unbeaten with a huge road with against Orlando Jones.
While the season is far from over, the schedule now plays in their favor – with four of the last six games being played at home in College Park.
With a solid senior class – led by University of Texas running back commitment Cedric “C.J.” Baxter (RB, 6-2, 215), this team has been able to make a major statement. Add in prospects such as Corey Alston Jr. (DE, 6-4, 230), Vincent Burse (OG, 6-2, 260), Chase Carter (QB, 6-0, 190), Semaj Fleming Semaj Fleming 5'10" | 175 lbs | WR Orlando Edgewater | 2025 State FL (CB/Athlete), D’juan Gilbert (OG, 6-2, 285) and offensive lineman Cordell Lima (6-1, 210) and you have a team that is ready for anyone.
