The young man's efforts proved to be crucial to the one-score victory over the talented Freedom program. Said efforts will have him on our rankings in no time. Spang totaled 204 yards on the day, scoring two touchdowns in the process, scores that were vital in this week three win. Spang mixed in some special on the run, and improvisational throws early in this one. He's got okay size in the pocket too. Great hat placement off the ball too, he's showing a clear understanding of how crucial hat and hand placement is when run blocking. Shaub, who is new to the site, has an outstanding GPA and standard size to play in the interior at the next level if he chooses to do so. How these two prospects managed to not make our Summer update is a tough break. I'll see to it that that changes after the season.rnrnJohn Scott's three-game tape has me ready to rank him as a top 25 linebacker in the state, this kid has FCS capabilities. Scott is an excellent blitzer off the edge or through the trenches, his pursuit of the ball carrier and/or quarterback is impressive. Scott doesn't need a whole lot of build-up to create power, he can come around the edge and knock linemen into the backfield. Awesome awareness, can shed and run too. This kid is a stud. How I'm just now finding out about him is baffling.rnrnThe same thing goes for quarterback/athlete Finn Furmanek. I can't decide where I like this kid most. It's hard to not love him on offense, considering his production is significant and he can catch the ball some to boot. Yet his prowess on the defensive side of the football leads me to believe that's where his future lies. Weber plays a ton of DB/S for Bedford, but I can't help but picture him at linebacker at the next level.
