Pennsylvania’s Top Five 2021 Offensive Lineman Entering the Fall

We continue (albeit, delayed) look at Pennsylvania’s top five players at each position entering the fall 2020 season. Today, we look at an extremely deep position group, the offensive line. Where all top five offensive lineman also rank inside our top-30 regardless of position. [player_tooltip player_id="27187" first="Nolan" last="Rucci"] (Warwick) You simply have to love everything that Rucci presents as a prospect and it’s easy to see that no matter where you look, Rucci is considered one of the nation’s elite prospects. He’s already built like a professional at 6-foot-8 and 270-pounds and on the field shows all the makings of a potential future first round NFL draft pick. Wherever he plays his college ball, that university will have an anchor to build their offensive line around. [player_tooltip player_id="27205" first="Nate" last="Bruce"] (Harrisburgh) Bruce is our No.18 player regardless of position and our second ranked offensive lineman. The Penn State commitment has the size you look for at 6-foot-5 and 300-pounds and shows a great foundations in his skill set but is still a bit of a raw prospect who will need time to make an impact for the Nittany Lions. That being said, the potential is there for Bruce to be a great offensive lineman at the next level. [player_tooltip player_id="27209" first="Taleeq" last="Robbins"] (Imhotep Charter) Robbins is our No.21 prospect and third ranked offensive lineman though it does appear that the Imhotep Charter standout wants to play on the defensive side of the ball at the next level. That would make sense with his height being at 6-foot-1 that would be rather short for an offensive lineman at the FBS level. That being said, Robbins is a great athlete and should excel at the next level. [player_tooltip player_id="27210" first="Aaron" last="Gunn"] (Union) Personally, I think Gunn has the potential to become a really good to great offensive lineman at the next level. The Louisville commitment is already 6-foot-4 and pushing that 300-pound range and once he gets into an FBS strength and conditioning program, the results could be scary with Gunn. A versatile offensive lineman, Gunn does have the ability to play all along the offensive line which could allow him to see the fielder sooner at Louisville. [player_tooltip player_id="27214" first="Harrison" last="Hayes"] (Pine-Richland) The final offensive lineman is [player_tooltip player_id="27214" first="Harrison" last="Hayes"], our 28th ranked prospect regardless of position. Hayes is the smallest of the top five at 6-foot-3 and probably floating around the 260-270 mark at this point weight wise. With that, he’ll need time in the weight room and with a strength and conditioning team to put on more muscle and weight. That being said, the Liberty commitment does have the potential to be a solid contributor with time. Far from a finished product, Hayes is an intriguing product that has some quality athleticism as he also plays defensive end for Pine-Richland.
