STOCK RISERS: Top 2024 Prospects Earn New Offers

<p>The college football season is underway, but recruiting never stops. We saw some top prospects across the state earn new offers this week and more are likely on the way.</p>   <p>Which 2024 prospects earned major offers this week?</p>   <p>Prep Redzone takes a look...</p>   <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='137439' first='Zion' last='Ragins'] - Jones County</strong></p>   <p>One of the fastest wide receiver prospects in the country, Ragins is an electric playmaker with the ball in his hands who can score on any particular play. A shorter, explosive receiver, Ragins is ranked by Prep Redzone as the No. 6 overall prospect in Georgia for the 2024 class. Through his first three games of the season, Ragins has caught 18 passes for 272 yards and two touchdowns. He's also a threat in the return game due to his overall speed and playmaking ability. One of the top two-way prospects in Georgia, Solomon is ranked as the No. 15 overall prospect in Georgia for the 2024 class due to his versatility, ball skills, and frame at 6-foot-1 185-pounds. So far this season, the small-town athlete has caught 17 passes for 216 yards and one touchdown through his first two games. He's had a big week on the recruiting trail, adding new offers from Ole Miss and Penn State. He's excellent against the run, but he's also rangy in coverage and plays the ball well in the air. He shows solid instincts in the secondary and knows how to deliver a big hit. He takes great angles to the ball-carrier and has turned into a leader for a very talented Buford defense. A touchdown machine last year for Colquitt County, Carr is an excellent route-runner who can get open with ease. He's a dangerous vertical threat, but he's also impressive in the screen game and can get open on a consistent basis. He has quick footwork, reliable hands, and has shown this year why he's one of the top 2024 receivers not only in Georgia, but across the South for the 2024 class. He's also ranked as the No. 9 prospect in Georgia for his class. Through the first two games, Carr has made 10 catches for 138 yards. He's long, athletic, and knows how to stop the run between the tackles. He can also track down the running back out of the backfield and drop them for a loss. He's still learning and has plenty of development to do, but his frame and potential have made him one of the fastest-rising linebackers across Georgia for the 2024 class.
