<p>The high school football season is in full swing in the state of Arkansas. With several great matchups taking place throughout the state; we have plenty of prime-time players to take a look at today. As always, we will look at many prospects as we can in this article and then finish out the weekend with a what we learned. It was a great week of high school football action on Friday, and we have plenty of prospects to highlight.</p>

<p>Lindsey was slinging the ball all over Harmon Field on Friday night. Against North Little Rock on Friday night, Lindsey went 22 of 40 for 379 yards, four touchdowns, and one interception. Lindsey has the arm strength to cause plenty of problems for opposing defenses this season. Fayetteville bounced back nicely from the loss to Cabot and beat North Little Rock 28-10.</p>

<p>Future blue-chip prospect [player_tooltip player_id='202575' first='Kane' last='Archer'] made his debut against Fort Smith Northside in relief of [player_tooltip player_id='160308' first='Hunter' last='Houston'] because of an injury. In a total team effort, Archer helped lead a furious comeback victory against the Grizzlies of Fort Smith Northside. In the second half alone, Archer threw for 281 yards and four touchdowns in the 56-53 victory. Archer is a quarterback that is just getting started and he is going to light up plenty of Friday nights in the future.</p>

<p>I have said it many times over the past few years that the Greenwood Bulldogs have one of the most impressive receiving corps in the state of Arkansas. [player_tooltip player_id='191634' first='Grant' last='Karnes'] is just one piece of the corps; however, he had a tremendous night on Friday night. Karnes caught nine passes for 227 yards and three touchdowns. Had a 100-yard kickoff return and recovered an onside kick. Look out for Karnes the rest of the season, he is off to a hot start.</p>

<p>Over the past two weeks, [player_tooltip player_id='157343' first='Cameron' last='Vanzant'] has been on a roll for the Farmington Cardinals. The Farmington signal caller looked sharp in the Cardinals victory over Springdale on Friday night. He was 11 of 14 for 284 yards and three touchdowns. Farmington takes on Rogers this week in what should be an excellent matchup.</p>

<p>The Rogers Mounties appear to be clicking on all cylinders on the offensive side of the ball. The Mounties earned a victory over Bishop Kelley out of Tulsa on Friday night. Cash hauled in nine receptions for 176 yards and two touchdowns on Friday night. Cash is a wide receiver that has been making plays over the first two weeks of the season and has the potential for a big 2022 season.</p>

<p>Carter does an excellent job of picking his rushing lanes and that talent was on full display Friday night. Against Two Rivers on Friday night, Carter rushed eight times for 150 yards and one touchdown. Carter continues to have a solid season on both sides of the ball. He has the potential for an impressive season and is a prospect to watch out for this season.</p>

<p>Little Rock Christian has some of the state's best linebackers. On Friday night Chappell racked up 21 tackles against the Shiloh Christian Saints. Chappell was all over the field for the Saints and he continues to build off of an extremely impressive 2021 season. Keep an eye on Chappell this season, he is off to a great start.</p>

<p>One of the most dangerous wide receivers in the state of Arkansas calls Pulaski Academy home. McKinney had a terrific night on Friday against at Madison-Ridgeland. McKinney helped put the game away with three touchdown receptions and an interception on Friday night. The Bruins off to a strong start to the 2022 football season.</p>

<p>Arkadelphia and Hot Springs played a classic on Friday night. Whitten had an impressive night on Friday night. Whitten threw for 293 yards and three touchdowns on Friday night. However, Whitten was not done, he proceeded to use his legs well on Friday night. Whitten rushed for 138 yards in the Arkadelphia victory over Hot Springs on Friday. Keep an eye out for the Badgers they are just getting started.</p>

<p>Wimberly built serious momentum over the summer, and he has kept that momentum rolling into the season. Against Monticello on Friday night, Wimberly found the end zone two times. The Miners earned a tough victory over Monticello 35-20 on Friday night. Keep an eye out for Wimberly he is making plays on both sides of the ball this season.</p>

<p>Wilson has come out hot this season. Over the past two weeks he has put on display a strong arm that can fit passes into some tight windows. On Friday night against Perryville, Wilson was 21 of 31 for 219 yards and four touchdowns. Wilson made good use of his legs on Friday night rushing for 50 yards on the night. Wilson is continuing to open plenty of eyes this season with his solid play.</p>

<p>Davis was solid on Friday night on the road against Shiloh Christian. The Little Rock Christian linebacker racked 11 up tackles with two tackles for loss against the Saints. The Warriors are off to an impressive start, and I expect a big season from both Davis and the Warriors as the heats up. Davis had a terrific season last season and is off to a great start this season.</p>
