<p>Fans, players and high school and college coaches sent messages how pleased they were to see the athletes promoted for all to see.</p>

<p>Remember, this is all intended to expose and promote players and football programs across the state, and with the help of so many who contributed, we have the opportunity to get these much-needed pieces of information out.</p>

<p>In Winter Haven's win over Lake Region, <strong>Alfred Smothers</strong> rushed for 195 yards on 15 carries.</p>

<p>Junior quarterback<strong> [player_tooltip player_id='404511' first='Claudell' last='Sherman'] </strong>had three touchdowns to send<strong> Coach Tim “Ice” Harris </strong>and Miami Booker T. Washington to a win over Miami Edison.</p>

<p>Running back <strong>Jayvion Showers</strong> rushed for three touchdowns as Pensacola Catholic moved to 2-0 with a win over Milton.</p>

<p><strong>Malachi Askin</strong> rushed for 117 yards and scored twice in Wesley Chapel Cypress Creek's win against Sunlake.</p>

<p>Quarterback <strong>Dekwan Bradley</strong> threw four passing touchdowns and rushed for two more as Kissimmee Poinciana rolled to a win over Discovery. <strong>Donald Cummings Jr.</strong> added two TD receptions.</p>

<p>Quarterback <strong>Dylan Redmon</strong>, Vero Beach St. Edward's was 9 of 13 for 162 yards 2TD passing and 3 rushes for 99 yards and 1TD. On defense, had 2 picks – one for a 23-yard score and 6 tackles.</p>

<p>Even in a 21-14 setback, St. Petersburg Northeast had some prospects who did well. Junior <strong>Aaron Benoit</strong> (1 Catch 97 yards TD), 2 punt returns 103 yards TD and 7 total tackles. Senior <strong>Johnny-Ted Tertulien</strong> had 3 Sacks, 10 total tackles.</p>

<p>Seniors <strong>Wayne Peart</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='128485' first='Edwin' last='Joseph']</strong> made a huge impact in Hollywood Chaminade-Madonna's win over Fort Lauderdale Dillard. Peart, a defensive tackle, had five quarterback sacks and nine total tackles – and Joseph, playing on both sides of the ball, made key plays all night.</p>

<p>Boca Raton's <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='404607' first='Gabriel' last='Birnbaum']</strong> had 3 sacks, 1 strip sack, two tackles for loss and a QB pressure in the Bobcats' win.</p>

<p>Senior <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='128842' first='Alexander' last='Davis']</strong> booted a 32-yard game-winning field goal as Orlando Timber Creek beat Dr. Phillips, 24-22.</p>

<p>Tarpon Springs East Lake quarterback <strong>Caleb Coburn</strong> accounted for 130 yards of offense (65 passing, 65 rushing) and had two TDs on the ground. Luke Yoder ran for 148 yards on 22 carries.</p>

<p>Junior RB <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='404265' first='Rod' last='Gainey'] Jr.</strong> had three touchdowns in Tampa Bay Tech's win.</p>

<p>Bradenton IMG White <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='304400' first='Parker' last='Leise']</strong> was 19 of 26, 405 yards, 5TDs. It's an all-time single game passing yards, including the national team.</p>

<p>Tarpon Springs 2024 RB <strong>Parkees Harris Jr.</strong> started the season off on the right foot with 127 yards rushing and 3 touchdowns.</p>

<p><strong>Dom Fullington</strong>, Kicker, Sebastian River was 6 for 6 on extra points and had a touchback in a win. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='128313' first='Christopher' last='Harris']</strong> -10 for 10 passing, 153yds, 2 TD's, no interceptions in 42-0 win over Titusville Astronaut.</p>

<p>In Lake Wales win over Ridge Community, 32-8, 2024 standout <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='404531' first='Carlos' last='Mitchell'] </strong>had a TD reception and Pick-6.</p>

<p><strong>Jeremiah Efird</strong>, DE/OLB/TE, Pensacola Booker T. Washington High School 2 sacks, 3 pass deflections, 3 tackles, 1 tackle for loss.</p>

<p><strong>Darrick D. McGhee, Jr.</strong>, Tallahassee Florida High had 13 tackles, one pass deflection in a 24-13 win.</p>

<p>2025 QB <strong>Jayden Vega</strong> once again had a huge game for Stuart Martin County. He finished 6 of 8 for 172 yards and 5 touchdowns – and added 51 yards on the ground in a win over Wellington.</p>

<p>Cantonment Tate QB <strong>Taite Davis</strong> got his team off to a great start with 5 touchdown passes in a win over Pensacola.</p>

<p>Fort Lauderdale Westminster Academy junior QB <strong>Anthony Barber</strong> had 376 yards and 2 scores, and <strong>Mike Varga</strong> added 8 tackles, 2 sacks and 4 tackles for loss.</p>

<p>Boca Raton 2023 LB <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='128688' first='Brock' last='Anderson']</strong> had 13 tackles and 1 fumble recover in a win against Key West.</p>

<p>2023 WR <strong>Jesse Fields</strong>, Coconut Creek Monarch, had 14 receptions for 140 yards in a setback against Delray Atlantic.</p>

<p>Miami Springs had some key performers this past week – with <strong>Masceo Williams</strong> WR (65 yards, 1 TD), QB <strong>Ayden Anderson</strong> (86 passing yards, 50 rushing yards, 1 TD) and RB <strong>King Williams </strong>RB (164 rushing yards).</p>

<p>One of the most overlooked 2023 QBs in Florida – by far, Lanatana Santaluces standout <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='128064' first='Will' last='Prichard']</strong> was 20 of 30 for 269 yards and 2TDs to send the Chiefs to 2-0.</p>
