<p><span style="font-size:14px"><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif">"As a player I believe that I bring a lot of energy and most games it seems that I am the heart of the team," Willmar wide receiver Nick Prokosch said to Northstar Football. "As a wide receiver I think I am most dangerous after the catch, but I also have good hands and can make the hard catches. Last season went very well for myself individually I had career high in catches with 38 and yards with 583. Team wise we fell eight points short of our goal being a state tourney birth. The highlight from last season would have to be our 20 point fourth quarter comeback win against Fergus Falls in the section semifinals. I also happened to have my best game of the season that game finishing with five catches for 131 yards."</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:14px"><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif">Being bigger, faster and stronger as a senior were on the priority list for Prokosch this past summer. </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:14px"><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif">"I have been working in the weight room working on getting stronger for the season mainly for playing defense which my coach told me I will be playing a lot more next season," Prokosch explained to Northstar Football. "I also have been working on getting faster this off-season to help me beat corners and safeties more consistently and also to be more appealing for the next level. Next season individually I hope to have the best statistical season of my high school career. I have set goals of 50+ catches and 600+ yards with five plus touchdowns. As a team we are really striving for a state tourney birth. So far I have been really impressed on how hard the guys have worked this off-season. I know all of us want to achieve that goal not only for ourselves but for the community also."</span></span></p>
