1. Quince Orchard High School
2021 Season Record: 14-0
The defending 4A State Champions ran the table last year, finished undefeated, and show no signs of slowing down in 2022. RB Iverson Howard Iverson Howard 5'10" | 195 lbs | RB Quince Orchard | 2025 State MD returns as one of the top backs in the state, and has offensive linemen like Zachary Anderson Zachary Anderson 6'1" | 280 lbs | OL Quince Orchard | 2023 State MD and Tristan Pierre returning to support one of the state’s dominant offenses that averaged 40 points per game. Edge Jaylen Harvey Jaylen Harvey 6'2" | 225 lbs | LB Quince Orchard | 2024 State MD will lead a loaded defense that only gave up an average of a TD per game, and also has DL Christian Hayes Christian Hayes 6'0" | 275 lbs | DL Quince Orchard | 2023 State MD , LB Kendall Johnson Kendall Johnson 6'2" | LB Quince | 2023 State MD , LB King Tshiama King Tshiama 6'4" | 210 lbs | LB Quince Orchard | 2023 State MD , DB Shae Terry Shae Terry 5'10" | 180 lbs | DB Riverdale Baptist | 2024 State MD , DL Matthieu Long, and DB Elisha West Elisha West 5'11" | 170 lbs | DB Quince Orchard | 2024 State MD .
2. Dr. Henry Wise High School
2021 Season Record: 12-1
Wise met Quince Orchard in the 4A State Championship, as a battle of the undefeateds, but came up unsuccessful. However, they return to 2022 loaded and have even added some new players. QB Cortney Davis Cortney Davis 6'6" | 220 lbs | QB Wise | 2023 State MD will lead an offense that has plenty of firepower with Athlete Mykel Morman, Receivers Joseph Tabe Joseph Tabe 5'11" | 170 lbs | WR Springbrook | 2023 State MD , Joseph Towler, and O-Lineman William Membrino William Membrino 6'4" | 320 lbs | OL Riverdale Baptist | 2024 State MD , and averaged close to 35 points per game. The defense of LB Rico Murray Rico Murray 6'0" | 215 lbs | LB Henry A. Wise | 2023 State MD , DB Mykel Morman, and DL Ronald Hull Ronald Hull 6'0" | 280 lbs | DL Henry A. Wise | 2024 State MD return to a defense that gave up less than 100 points on the year.
3. C. H. Flowers High School
2021 Season Record: 11-2
Flowers finished the season 11-2 after losing there only two games to Wise last season. Once during the regular season and the final time in the 4A State Semi- Finals. They return a defense that gave up only 1 score or less in 8 out of 13 games. Defensive Lineman Desmond Umeozulu Desmond Umeozulu 6'6" | 235 lbs | DL Flowers | 2023 State MD is one of the defensive prospects in the state, and DL Obina Onwuka, DB Braydon Lee Braydon Lee 6'1" | 165 lbs | DB C.H. Flowers | 2024 State MD , LB Kendric Council, and DB Jalen Riley Jalen Riley 6'1" | 160 lbs | DB C.H. Flowers | 2024 State MD also return to one of the state’s best defensive units.
4. Dundalk High School
2021 Season Record: 12-1
Dundalk finished 12-1 and as the 3A/ 4A State Championship Runner- Ups. They return one of the most prolific rushing attacks led by Running Back Jordan Fiorenza Jordan Fiorenza 5'11" | 195 lbs | RB Dundalk | 2023 State MD , Offensive Linemen Chimdyh Onoh, and Julian Haddix. The Owls will definitely control the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball, and also have Defensive Lineman Joel Soestre leading a defense that pitched 5 shutouts last season.
5. Montgomery Blair High School
2021 Season Record: 9-3
Blair finished 9-3 and lost in the 4A State Quarterfinal to Wise. However they return one of the state’s top Quarterbacks, Kendell Anderson Kendell Anderson 6'3" | 180 lbs | QB Blair | 2023 State MD , along with one of the top offenses in the state led by receivers Jamall Worrell Jamall Worrell 6'2" | 195 lbs | WR Blair | 2023 State MD and Mikhail Seiken Mikhail Seiken 5'10" | 175 lbs | WR Blair | 2024 State MD . Seiken is one of top 2 way players in Montgomery County and will make a dominant impact on both sides of the ball for the Blazers.
