Elite prospect with great explosion and wingspan. Getoff is fantastic. Does a great job of pressing lineman off him. Has physical and violent hands. On film sets the edge well, is rarely out of position. Shows great range and pursuit. Dynamic presence on defense, always recovers, teams rarely break contain. P4 prospect. Has body type and play style similar to Myles Garrett. Very strong with frame to add more weight. Is now 6’6 240. Taller kid, would want to see a little lower, but still has great power. Love combination of athleticism, body control, and range. Boasts offers from Georgia, South Carolina, Texas.

Christian was the best defensive lineman in attendance at this showcase. He came in with multiple Division 1 offers and showed why in all phases of the showcase. In the agility circuit, his effort and athletic ability really showed well in the 3 cone drill when I observed him up close. In one-on-one drills, Christian showed an excellent speed rush and had a nice counter back inside off of it he used to win 2 out of 3 reps in the best on best competition at the end of the showcase. I’m excited to continue to see how he develops in the future.

A promising EDGE defender in Gwinnett County with an impressive 6-foot-6 230-pound frame, Webb-Scott has the field some as a freshman for the mighty Buford Wolves last year, making 11 tackles, but his playing time should increase in a big way as a sophomore in 2025. He’s a big-time prospect on the rise who could turn into a very productive defender over the next several years. If he continues to add more wight and develop his craft as a pass-rusher, more offers should be rolling in over the next two seasons. He’s ranked as the No. 1 EDGE and the No. 28 overall prospect in the 2028 class.

. Playing at one of the very best programs across the country, Webb-Scott was buried on the depth chart behind several future D! defensive linemen, but he still flashed impressive raw talent and the ability to turn into a consistent pass-rusher off the EDGE. Even with limited varsity film, his size, potential and raw talent has led to recent offers from Georgia and Michigan. Look for his Prep Redzone ranking to rise in the spring update along with new offers to come his way more and more over time.

Webb-Scott was probably the most noteworthy prospect at camp when it comes to recruiting status. He has generated plenty of buzz up to this point and seems to be a top performer wherever he competes. He is a verified 6’4 217 and has the ability to turn speed into power. For a young guy with his size, he has an advanced understanding of how to work off both shoulders and does a good job of setting up blockers to slip off their inside shoulder. At the top of his rush, you can see his bend and length go to work. Webb-Scott has a great chance to become a blue chip prospect.

Keep his name filed away, because Webb-Scott will be a prospect known nationally very soon. Coming in at 6’5 230, he checks all the measurable boxes and is a rare body type, especially for an 8th grader. He won almost every rep thanks to his combination of size and speed. He did a great job of setting up blockers and possesses the immediate twitchy to jump across the face of blockers and skinny himself off the inside shoulder. As he adds more play strength, he can knock blockers on their heels with his length. He can win from multiple depths and has most of his best football still left in the tank. There is clear 4-5 star potential here.

Webb-Scott is the second tallest (unofficial) Georgia 2028 lineman prospect in this article, billed at a staggering 6-foot-5 and 220 pounds. It’s a big year for Webb-Scott who has reclassed from 2027 to 2028 and looks to rebound from a very serious injury a year ago, that caused him to miss an extended amount of time. After suffering a compound fracture and dislocation of the femur bone from the knee, Webb-Scott has worked all the way back and is set for the 2023 season. He would have been one of the top defensive linemen in Georgia for the 2027 class had he stayed there, but there’s no getting that missed development time back. Nonetheless, he’s back three inches taller and 20 pounds heavier since the last time he took the field. There’s no longterm damage from the injury and the defensive end is ready to go full tilt for Buford this year.

Looking at this 2027 class early on, there aren’t many prospects with the level of potential that Webb-Scott has. The Georgia prospect enters his eighth-grade season already at 6-foot-3 and 195-pounds, with a developing mean streak. At his size and build, he’s an obvious Defensive End/Edge player that could become a pass-rush specialist if he continues to ascend. This off-season in particular he has really started to transform his body from middle school player to athlete getting ready to fight for a Varsity spot in fall 2023. He has clearly dedicated a lot of time to his craft, putting on obvious muscle mass. Right now, he possesses nearly everything a coach could want in an Edge player. He’s obviously a very long prospect that can explode off the snap with quickness. Gwinnett County in Georgia is known for producing elite football talents, Webb-Scott should be one of the next ones from the hotbed.
