He shows very good zone awareness with good eyes to process routes and stay in advantageous positions. Good in cover 3 at CB, Otero shows good discipline playing top down and shows good recovery speed when he gets slightly out of position. Overall, he is good in man to match WR’s.

Blair Otero Blair Otero 5'9" | 165 lbs | DB Nash. Christian | 2026 State TN is a scrappy and athletic corner at 5-foot-9, 165 pounds out of Nashville Christian High School. He is very physical in press man coverage and looks to bully wide receivers in bump and run. Good versatility to play the slot, he likes to blitz and show off his closing speed. Good feet and hand usage in coverage, Otero combines his lower and upper half to maintain leverage and positioning. Good overall athletic ability, he shows good change of direction and fluid hips in coverage. Overall, he is a willing and consistent tackler with great technique.
