Recruiting Update 7-30-22

Several prospects have received scholarship offers this week and several are hitting a few camps before the fall workouts pick up in earnest next week. We are going to look at numerous prospects that are making some headlines this week in the Natural State. We are only a few weeks away from the season kicking off and the recruiting news will continue to heat up over the next few weeks.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='153886' first='Charleston' last='Collins']-Defensive Line-Little Rock Mills-2024</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Little Rock Mills defensive lineman is one of the most impressive defensive linemen in the state of Arkansas. He is a lineman that explodes out of his stance and gets into the opposing offensive backfield. Collins is versatile enough to play multiple positions along the defensive front. Collins received a scholarship offer from Marshall University on Friday. He has the potential to have an impressive season for Little Rock Mills and in the process rack up more scholarship offers.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='339467' first='Noah' last='Tindall']-Offensive Line-Morrilton-2023</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='339467' first='Noah' last='Tindall'] has had a tremendous summer on the camp circuit. He plays with a chip on his shoulder and a drive to finish every block. Tindall is impressive when it comes to opening up the rushing lane. He is an offensive lineman that has a good mix of power and speed. Tindall received a scholarship from Arkansas Tech on Friday. The Morrilton offensive line has plenty of experience returning this season and I expect a playoff run this season for the Devil Dogs.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='149538' first='Chauncey' last='Johnson']-Offensive Line-Lonoke-2024</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='149538' first='Chauncey' last='Johnson'] is a prospect that has the potential to explode from a recruiting perspective this season. Johnson has opened eyes at the Arkansas and Arkansas State camps, with just how quick and powerful he is. From a pass blocking standpoint, Johnson can overpower opposing pass rushers easily. Johnson earned a scholarship offer from the Red Wolves of Arkansas State on Friday. Johnson has the potential to have an impressive season and pick up some scholarship offers in the process.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='135327' first='Brandon' last='Greil']-Athlete-Joe T. Robinson-2023</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>With a scholarship offer from Navy to his credit already, [player_tooltip player_id='135327' first='Brandon' last='Greil'] added one from Arkansas State this afternoon. Greil sees time on both sides of the ball for the Senators. In the secondary, Greil has no problems separating the ball from the ball carrier. On the offensive side, of the ball Greil has the speed to stretch the field in the passing game. He has tremendous speed and Greil has the potential to have a strong 2022 football season. Greil earned a scholarship offer from Arkansas State on Friday and will earn some more this season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='75141' first='Donovan' last='Whitten']-Quarterback-Arkadelphia-2023</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Whitten continues to pick up scholarship offers and has the potential to earn some more this season. He has a strong arm and is extremely accurate. Whitten is closing out his summer by earning a scholarship from Arkansas Tech. Arkadelphia is extremely talented and this has the potential to be a season that ends in Little Rock for the Badgers. Whitten has the opportunity to continue to open some eyes this season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='149593' first='LJ' last='Robins']-Wide Receiver-Greenwood-2024</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Greenwood receiving corps is one that does an excellent job of making big plays in the passing game. [player_tooltip player_id='149593' first='LJ' last='Robins'] is one of those wide receivers that runs smooth routes and opposing defense have a difficult time covering. Robins has had excellent camps all offseason and I expect him to have a strong 2022 season. He had the opportunity to open some eyes in Jonesboro at the Arkansas State camp.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
