Maushardt has shown impressive natural athleticism and arm talent since transferring from Servite to St. Paul. At 6’3” 215 lbs. he’s got good length and a strong build to his frame to be an effective pocket passer while also being able to make plays with his legs when he needs too. Very smooth and fluid with his footwork and throwing motion, he’s consistent and flashes a great ability to throw off different platforms without sacrificing arm strength or accuracy. Plus field vision, he stands tall in the pocket as he scans the field and proves he can be patient and tough allowing a play to develop while facing pressure and taking a hit to deliver on time. Still developing but has continued to improve and possesses good upside. San Jose State was the first to offer in March and has since collected additional offers from Arkansas State and Indiana.
