Ty Naaktgeboren Ty Naaktgeboren 6'4" | 220 lbs | DL SF Roosevelt | 2023 State – Senior, Defensive End, 6’4″ 217lbs
Naaktgeboren is an all-around great defensive player and someone who you would want heading your front seven. Naaktgeboren is an elite pass rusher who can blow by any defender with ease with his swim moves and crafty footwork. He is very explosive off of the edge always managing to find a way to get to the quarterback. Naaktgeboren has put it simply a turnover machine, causing and recovering forced fumbles like no other, often returning them for a touchdown. He is also an above-average pass defender for his position, getting his hands up to knock balls down at the line of scrimmage or getting them tipped up into the hair. Naaktgeboren is an anchor for a Roosevelt defense that is competing for a championship at the AAA level, and with the level of talent that they have, it’s hard to say they won’t have a shot.
Cruiz Vaughn – Senior, Wide Receiver, 5’11” 190lbs
Vaughn is a lanky and fast wideout who makes those hard catches look easy. Vaughn has footwork that allows him to confuse defenders on routes and makes him a nightmare when it comes to coverage. Vaughn can make breakaways into the open field to completely bust out of a coverage scheme that the defensive is trying to stop him with. Vaughn has great hands to make hard catches above defenders or catch throws that are might in some tight traffic lanes. Vaughn also has some great speed to boot with his route running ability as a whole. Vaughn is one of the anchors on a great Sioux Falls Roosevelt offense that has some other great weapons to put with his elite ability.
Terel Williams – Senior, DB/WR/RB/ST, 5’9″ 160lbs
There is no other way to describe Williams’s style of play other than Super Utility. On the defense side of the Williams is an extremely fast defensive back who is capable of doing quite a few things. As a cornerback, Williams can keep up with the other team’s best slot receiver and constantly apply good coverage on the field. If you want to play safety he can be a ranging free safety who can make plays on throws that are even remotely close to where he is. Williams is also an exceptional special teams player who makes great tackles and has a great IQ on getting to the ball carrier. On the offense, Williams is a great gadget player who you can lineup in the backfield to take snaps at running back and catch passes there too. If you want a speedy slot receiver, you get that and more with Williams lined up in the slot to catch some quick throws over the middle. Williams gives insane versatility to play on offense and defense, and makes a team better by having him on the field.
Mason Deschepper – Senior, OLB/WR/CB, 6’0″ 194lbs
Deschepper has a very physical style of play which benefits what he does on the field greatly. He gives you a hard-nosed OLB who makes plays on the ball and makes great tackles to stop plays before they can start. Deschepper loves to mistakes that the offense will make on a play and exploits that to his advantage to give his team the upper hand. When not on the defense, he is a wide receiver who makes great catches and gets over defenders using his size to his advantage. He will not get stuck in one on one coverage often due to his innate ability to get above defenders to catch passes. He pairs up great with Cruiz Vaughn to create an elite wide receiver tandem to lead an already great Sioux Falls Roosevelt offense.
