The 2023 rankings were just updated and released, listing the top 200 athletes in the state of Oregon. Over the next few weeks, we will breakdown the positional groups and what each individual brings to the table. Have a look at the LBs..

Per usual rankings are based on how each individual projects collegiately. Athletes will only be listed on one side of the football.

LB

.[player_tooltip player_id="110182" first="Chip" last="Allers"] 6-3 215 Summit (OFFERS: Idaho, Army) One of the fastest rising recruits in the region. Allers could very well be the Oregon 5A POY on both sides of the football and a double digit D1 offer kid.

.[player_tooltip player_id="206771" first="Will" last="Wilson"] 6-3 220 Tualatin (OFFERS: N. Arizona) Wilson checks a lot of boxes and has a division 1 body. He is another individual who could land a handful of additional offers, while helping to lead a top Tualatin program.

.[player_tooltip player_id="204578" first="Caleb" last="Clardy"] 6-1 200 David Douglas- Clardy will end up playing D1 ball somewhere. He earned a 3* national ranking from 247 Sports and plays with a no non sense demeanor. Expect him to be in the Mt Hood POY conversation.

.[player_tooltip player_id="270070" first="Calvin" last="Macy"] 6-2 200 Lake Oswego (OFFERS: E Washington, Air Force, Yale, Penn) Macy has had one of the most impressive off seasons of any athlete on this list. He earned 1st team all TRL honors as a junior, and will be called upon to lead a Lakers team who graduates a talented senior class.

.[player_tooltip player_id="147247" first="Earl" last="Ingle"] 6-1 215 West Linn- The reigning TRL defensive POY and one of the most talented kids in Oregon. It wouldn't surprise me the least to see Ingle end up with multiple D1 offers. He impressed with his overall athleticism, making 61 total tackles with 6 tackles for loss and 5 sacks. Also adding 3 INTs and 3 PBU's.

.[player_tooltip player_id="263787" first="Austin" last="Goetz"] 6-2 210 Tigard- Goetz is a rangy athlete who brings legit size and speed to the table. He should compete with Ingle and Wilson for TRL POY accolades as the Tigers bring back a host of talent.

.[player_tooltip player_id="110175" first="Sullivan" last="McDaniel"] 6-3 220 Clackamas- Another kid who has size and is an outstanding overall athlete. A lot will be determined this off season, with McDaniel being one of the region's top lacrosse athletes as well.

.[player_tooltip player_id="110183" first="Jayden" last="Moses"] 6-0 200 Grant- If we are talking pure talent Moses is one of the best players in Oregon. He will be a 4 year all conference starter and the overwhelming favorite for PIL POY honors.

.[player_tooltip player_id="205823" first="Henry" last="Masters"] 6-3 210 Tigard- Much like his teammate Goetz, Henry is big and fast earning 2nd team all TRL honors on both sides of the football as a Junior. He projects on D but runs nice routes from his TE position.

.[player_tooltip player_id="271368" first="Braden" last="Snoderly"] 6-2 210 Canby- Snoderly had a big junior season putting up some impressive numbers with 97 total tackles and 8 tackles for loss. The Cougars will be super talented but young and will need his leadership.

.[player_tooltip player_id="270181" first="Ben" last="Winjum"] 5-11 195 West Linn- One of the most impressive defensive players in all of Oregon last season. Winjum came out of nowhere and put up one of the best stat lines in the state (79 tackles, 4 tackles for loss, 2 sacks), earning 1st team all TRL accolades.

.[player_tooltip player_id="110215" first="Vaun" last="Halstead"] 6-1 215 Thurston- At times Halstead looked as good as any junior LB in the state last season. The Colts are always in the mix at the 5A level as he should be able to dominate most of the competition.

.[player_tooltip player_id="194897" first="Vaughn" last="Croxton"] 6-1 225 Tigard- Croxton had an outstanding junior season, earning 2nd team all TRL honors on both sides of the football. He could very well end up at FB collegiately.

.[player_tooltip player_id="110241" first="Solomon" last="McDaniel"] 5-11 210 Central Catholic- McDaniel is a physical presence but still has a lot to prove. The Rams graduate a host of talented kids so we will find out quickly how influential he is on defense.

.[player_tooltip player_id="376149" first="Waylon" last="Riedel"] 5-10 220 Estacada- Some of the most impressive film anywhere. Most aren't aware with him playing 4A ball, but he will be a candidate for POY honors on O & D.

tie. [player_tooltip player_id="223215" first="Romynn" last="Leslie Schaefer"] 6-0 225 Churchill- I could see Schaefer climb this list quick with another good season. He had impressive junior campaign, racking up 1st team all league honors, while making 106 tackles.

The 2023 rankings were just updated and released, listing the top 200 athletes in the state of Oregon. Over the next few weeks, we will breakdown the positional groups and what each individual brings to the table. Have a look at the LBs..
