had himself a hell of a 2022 Fall, racking up 1100+ rushing yards and 200+ receiving yards to the tune of 25 total touchdowns. Nice blend of N-S, E-W running. A real playmaker that can score from anywhere on the field, taking sweeps 70+ yards for scores, lining up behind center and catching balls in the middle of the field for scores. Marques put in a sophomore year to remember. All of this and we didn’t even get to mention his prowess at linebacker. The tape shows a stout linebacking prospect that understands where to be at the right time, thanks to his reps on the other side of the football. Awesome gap integrity and play recognition. Alignment versatile at linebacker too, not just a middle or outside player. He can set the edge, blitz, rush the passer, or stuff runs at the LOS. Quality two-way prospect who proved he deserved to be ranked inside the top 75.
