<strong>THE BEARS</strong>
While things have not gone the way that coaches, players and fans had hoped the past few years, things may be turning around this season.
With over 70 players out during the spring, there was a renewed optimism as this program looks to grow and get to a level where they are competing each and every week.
The theme this spring and summer was all about work, and that is what happened – with players and coaches attending several events and understanding that individual progress helps the team in the end.
Make no mistake, while it may not reflect on the scoreboard every week, progress is being made by student/athletes who are putting in the time – and while wins and losses matter – it's improvement that is the key for this team and the coaching staff.
