Davis who has been a highly anticipated prospect is making the transfer to DC’s Rock Creek Academy, who has become a known name for producing D1 prospects and played some of the toughest teams on the east coast last season. Major is a prototypical D1 QB if you could build one, standing at 6’4 200 pounds with raw arm talent. He was spotted at showcase earlier this month and drew a spotlight with his performance. He was named a Watch List gem just last month; this change of scenery just may be what we’ve all been waiting for out of this prospect. Keep an eye out for Davis and Rock Creek this season.

Making the multi-hour trek up I-95 from the DMV, Davis got his money’s worth and did not disappoint. He has a major frame and a major arm to match. The FBS-sized prospect showed elite arm strength. I noted that one of his passes sliced through the air roughly 45 yards downfield on a rope. If this is not raw arm strength at the high school level, I am not sure what is. Additionally, Davis showed that he has the ability to place the ball where wherever he wanted at times. He did a nice job leading his receivers and even connected on a back shoulder throw or two. Davis had mostly clean footwork, while possessing command and poise in the pocket.

Davis has been under the tarp for long enough, talented underclassmen who’s been on a varsity roster for the past 2 years. He made the move to the WCAC defending champs, Archbishop Carroll in DC, where he will be under a magnifying glass as he shows off his growth over the past years. Davis recently won QB MVP at NXTGEN Philly and earned an invite to The Show by NXTGEN later this summer. Along with that big invite he earned an invite to the U.S. Army National Combine Series. Keep an eye out for Davis as he joins a leading program in the WCAC and puts his talents on display this summer.
