We are in the middle of Prospect Camp Season across the state and nation. Players are participating to showcase their skills to attract recruiting interest and receive offers. Players are participating in off-season training in preparation for the upcoming season. I am doing a two-part review on players who are expected to have a big season and generate offers for them.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="136320" first="Langston" last="Davis"], 5’10" 160, (No. 199 Overall/No. 19 DB), Middle Creek HS</strong>. Langston displays quick reaction to the play to make the stop. He covers a lot of ground quickly to deliver a physical tackle. Langston displays good technique on solo tackles in the open field. He is a solid defender in man-coverage, deflecting a high number of passes. Langston will continue to improve his skillset during off-season training in preparation for his upcoming senior season.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="293262" first="Aaron" last="Foster"], 5’10" 210, (No. 191 Overall/No. 20 LB), Clayton HS</strong>. Aaron runs well in the open field and closes quickly on the ball carrier for the stop. He displays good technique on solo tackles with complete wrap-up. Aaron reads the play and reacts quickly for the stop. He moves well laterally to make stops in tight spaces. Aaron will continue to improve his skillset during off-season training in preparation for his senior season.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="286031" first="Benjamin" last="Finkelstein"], 5’11" 185, (No. 209 Overall/ No. 28 Ath), Union Pines HS</strong>. Benjamin has compiled 993 total passing yards, 10 passing TDs, while completing 50 percent of his passes during his high school career. He throws an accurate medium-range pass on target. Benjamin will tuck it and run when needed to gain yardage. He will continue to improve his skillset during off-season training in preparation for his senior season.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="241445" first="Zavian" last="Oates"], 5’11" 170, (No. 196 Overall/No. 24 ATH), Eastern Wayne HS</strong>. Zavian runs good pass routes and separation from defenders to make catches. He displayed good speed in the open field and acceleration past defenders for big gains. Zavian finished the season with 800 receiving yards and 6 TDs for a 30.8 receiving yards average per catch. He plays multiple positions on offense for his team and finished the season with 500 all-purpose yards. Zavian will continue to improve his skillset during off-season training in preparation for his senior season.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="44980" first="Aiden" last="Bonde"], 5’8" 165, (No. 89 Overall/No. 2 K), Southeast Guilford HS</strong>. Aiden has a smooth kicking action and follow through. He displayed strong leg power and good mechanics along with good accuracy. Aiden kicked a 34 yards field goal into the wind which went through the goalposts with distance to spare. He will continue to improve his skillset during off-season training in preparation for his upcoming season.
