He is a compact runner that flashes natural forward lean and good leg drive-through contact while able to make defenders miss in the open field and is very hard to bring down in one on one situation’s. He also flashes cut-back ability against over-pursuing defenders and can smoothly track the ball out of the backfield while able to stick his toe in the ground after and gain positive yards quickly. Recently picking up his first offer from Grambling State, he should draw other FBS and FCS interest through this summer and his senior season. &nbsp; <em><strong>LB [player_tooltip player_id="115466" first="Drew" last="Cunningham"], De La Salle HS</strong></em> Cunningham is poised to have a breakout season this Fall and has the size length and athleticism to be one of the more dominating linebackers across Northern California. He is a very smooth athlete that flows well in space and has fluid hips when covering bigger receivers. Able to play both outside linebacker and rush the passer, he is physical at the point of attack, uses his length to shock blockers and shows good closing speed on ball carriers in space. Without a doubt Cunningham will be one of the top defenders across the Bay Area this fall and is primed to breakout this season. He is a no brainer FBS caliber kid that is just awaiting his first offer. &nbsp; <em><strong>ATH [player_tooltip player_id="312049" first="Zayden" last="Crockett"], De Anza HS</strong></em> Crockett is a versatile player that plays multiple positions on both sides of the ball. He can split out and play in the slot while showing strong hands and good tracking abilities, and can do some damage out of the backfield as well. With the ball in his hands, he is a smooth runner that shows a nice burst and is not afraid to lower his shoulder to gain extra yards. Showing impressive instincts on defense, he has a quick trigger and solid closing speed while not afraid to finish tackles and explode through contact. Transferring schools for his Senior season, he is in line to be one of the more intriguing players across the bay. &nbsp; <em><strong>WR Trevor Scott, San Ramon Valley HS</strong></em> Scott is coming off an All League season in 2021 and is a very sure handed and smart player from the receiver position. He has very strong hands downfield and shows elite high point ability with the skills to track the ball in traffic and attack it in the air. In the red zone, he is very effective in finding the soft spots in zone coverage and has a quick first step to burn by press defenders in man. His Junior tape shows that he’s a balanced receiver that can stretch the field with some open field speed and can also find the soft spots underneath and turn it upfield quickly. He should be a First Team all EBAL pick this season and draw college interest as he can make an impact at that level.
