This article focuses on interior linemen who are performing at a high level in Washington State. &nbsp; <strong>Keanu Lafaele</strong>, Enumclaw High School, 6-0 225 JR Keanu is a skilled Interior lineman who excels at being explosive at the line of scrimmage. He has the ability to play the 3 or 1 technique and effectively fill his gaps. He amassed 80 tackles while 11 of those were for a loss. Keanu’s relentlessness is notable as he rarely gives up on a play and pursues the ball carrier until the whistle. Colleges should keep a close eye on Keanu as he proceeds through his senior year as he puts up monster numbers. &nbsp; <strong>Zachary Barnett,</strong> Eatonville High School, 6-2 250, SR Barnett is an interior defensive linemen who regularly gets and beats double teams. He does an excellent job of playing the nose tackle, getting off blocks and finishing plays. Zach boasts an average of 8.9 tackles per game and is a true competitor. His leadership and influence on the line of scrimmage is an asset that would be highly valube to many D1 or D2 schools. &nbsp; <strong>Diego Carrion, </strong>Columbia River High School, 6-0 220 JR Diego, who played at a high level as a Junior is set to greatly improve his senior year. Diego has the athletisicm and frame needed to be effective in both the pass rush and run defense. This upcoming year He’ll be just as productive while honing in on his technique and fundamentals. He is surely a top defensive linemen to watch this upcoming season. &nbsp; <strong>Chris Fair, </strong>Port Townsend High School, 6-3 360 SR Chris is an phenomenal nose tackle who consistently shuts down inside runs. Chris’ size and arsenal of crisp block destruction moves is what makes him a problem for opposing teams. It’s great to see how smoothly he transitions from his initial moves to his counter moves and makes plays on the ball. Having Chris on the field can immensly influence an Offensive coordinators play calling. &nbsp; <strong>Sam Morrison, </strong>Granite Falls High School, 5-10 170 SR Sam is truly an impact player for his team. Morrison is a Deffensive linemen who displays excellent pass rush moves and makes quarterbacks pay. With a total of 7 sacks and 51 tackles it is evident that Sam played a crucial role in getting his team to 7-3 for the season. The speed and versatility that He harnesses makes him a difficult player to block.
