Their are plenty of studs and top tier talent that are working hard to earn their spot to the top, but their are a ton of talented players who are under the radar, that will make some huge noise this upcoming season. These young men have the speed, power, skill, and vision that you need to accel at their perspective position. Today we will analyze some more underrated players, and why they have earned the right to be recognized as players to watch for! Without further due, let’s hop into the analytics and skillsets of these young prospects to understand why they have the potential to shine bright! Elijah Mack- 5’10 140Ibs/FS,OLB/ Cypress Creek Analysis: Just a sophomore, Elijah Mack is a free safety that has plenty of potential to become a top prospect. He is very good at breaking up passes and attacking the ball. Mack has as shown he has keen awareness of what is going on during a play by reacting quickly to thrown balls and making great tackles. He also does a good job of shedding blocks and making plays on defense. With more weight room training, he will gain the weight necessary to take on or deliver more punishments. Look for him to become great and improve in the next two years! Carson Littlefield- 5’11 165Ibs/WR,SB,QB/ Cypress Ranch High School Analysis: Carson Littlefield is a player that has shown that he has the toughness to be a great wide receivers. Little field possesses good soft hands, and is a tremendous possession receiver. He can also throw the ball pretty well displaying good accuracy. Despite this, his arm power needs to be more developed in the future. Littlefield is an excellent blocker as well. Just a sophomore last year, he still has room to improve and become a premier player. Look for him to have an even better 2022 season. Tracy James II- 5’11 155Ibs/WR/ Cypress Ranch High School Analysis: Only a sophomore last season, Tracy James has proven himself to be a threat. This young man has great speed, clocking a 4.46 40 yard dash. James is very quick and elusive which makes him a reliable weapon if you want to use him on screen plays and jail breaks. He does an excellent job at coming back to the ball or adjusting to under thrown passes as well! Next, his route running is superb and he does an great job at finding ways to get open! The more he develops and gain experience, I see Tracy James becoming a premier threat for opponents guarding him! Hayden Winsor- 6’3 180Ibs/OLB/ Tomball Memorial High School Analysis: Hayden Windsor is a young player on the rise that is looking to have a great 2022 season. This young prospect is a very good tackler and plays with physical toughness in the box. He possesses good speed, power, and strength that allows him to become a hard hitter and play with a high motor. Winsor can improve by focusing on improving his tackling fundamentals as well. He maintains gap discipline to prevent ball carriers from breaking free. Finally, Winsor is very good at shedding blocks and has shown great awareness on the field by adjusting to the play being ran in the moment with great urgency! Moving forward, keep an eye on him! [player_tooltip player_id="136196" first="Tyler" last="Hutcherson"]- 5’10 150Ibs/CB,WR/ Eisenhower High School Analysis: [player_tooltip player_id="136196" first="Tyler" last="Hutcherson"] is a sleeper to keep an eye on for the upcoming 2022 football season. He has a tremendous back peddle! When it comes to his technique in man coverage, his hip flexibility and positioning is next to none! He has is a cornerback that is amazing in man coverage even when he is guarding receivers taller than him! He keeps himself in position to make a great play consistently by doing a great job following the wide receiver’s hips. Hutcherson has very good speed, and jump ball skills as well which makes him a threat you do not want to attack very often. Keep your eye on him for this upcoming season!
