Sights & Sounds: NMHU camp In Las Vegas

New Mexico Highlands University held a one-day camp at Sanchez Family Stadium on a sunny and windy Saturday afternoon for prospective Cowboys. When the camp was over Cowboys head coach Ron Hudson offered four 2022 New Mexico prospects: Rio Rancho DE/OLB <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="26235" first="Fabiano" last="Valdez"]</strong>, Mayfield OL/DL <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="264792" first="Keith" last="Franz"]</strong>, Taos OL <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="135643" first="Ryan" last="Garcia"] </strong>and Hobbs OL <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="264808" first="Gavin" last="Brumley"]</strong>, one of the tallest O-Linemen in the state at 6-foot-5, 275 pounds. Brumley is also an elite wrestler and is competing in track &amp; field this spring. For Valdez, NMHU marked his second offer in as many days as Presentation College in Aberdeen, South Dakota offered on Friday. Also participating in the camp were NMHU DL commit <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="264996" first="Kendal" last="Ulmer"]</strong> (Cleveland) and Santa Fe 2025 OL/DL <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="268298" first="Cruz" last="Graham"]</strong>. He started for the Demons as a freshman last season. Before the camp got underway, NMHU conducted one of their final practices before next Saturday’s spring game at Sanchez Family Stadium.
