seemed to have cleaned up many of the parts of his game I mentioned. Kania’s releases became more quick and explosive, putting defenders on their heels as he pushed upfield. When blocking Kania got his elbows together more and got into his assignment tight. Ball protection remained a prority as he holds it tight and to his body, while he still high points the ball well and finds subtle ways to create separation, particularly atop his route.

is probably faster than he is quick, but really emphasizes the subtle physical elements of his game. Running with a forward lean, taking pride in blocking, and gentling pushing off atop his routes to create space are examples of this.

sets himself apart from much of the competition since he towers over every defender he comes up against. Racking up 630 yards and an astonishing 12 touchdowns in 2023, Bryce was an absolute mismatch and nightmare to cover one on one. A sprinter at the receiver position, Bryce can burn defenders if they’re caught peeking into the backfield. Not only that, but he does a superb job securing the catch and coming down with it. He can catch the ball away from his body and does a great job putting his full attention to reeling it in when he has defenders in his face. Bryce is one of the scariest pylon threats in the state.

‘s season was cut short to 4 games in 2022, but that still gave us plenty of film to watch and evaluate his skill level. Luckily for Bryce, his 4 games played had more highlights in it than most players have in a full season. With great height and wingspan, you can expect Bryce to snag the ball out of the air for years to come. There’s few at the high school level that will be able to tear it away from him. Playing for the Hun School, which absolutely dominated last season, I expect to see them continue their success with Bryce playing a large part in it.
