There are a ton of OL prospects still out there who have the talent to anchor an OL at the next level. Make sure you don’t miss out on these dudes before moving on to 2023s. Let’s dive into some film!
Nathan Skebba Nathan Skebba 6'5" | 270 lbs | OL Grafton | 2022 State WI , 6’5″ 270- Grafton
It’s no secret that we are big fans of Nathan’s here at Prep Redzone WI! The OL has the perfect frame to build on and fill out paired with the body control and athleticism to make himself an intriguing prospect. The big man is easily in the running for best player still on the market. I’m not sure why the big man doesn’t have senior tape up, but make no mistake. He is a talented dude. Don’t miss out on him.
Luca Kowalik Luca Kowalik 6'4" | 280 lbs | OL Milwaukee Marquette | 2022 State WI , 6’4″ 280- Milwaukee Marquette
The Marquette stud has been highly pursued by every level. He holds offers from Bemidji State, Upper Iowa, Winona State, Concordia- St. Paul, Carroll College, D3 St. Norbert’s College, and D1s Valparaiso and Dayton. It is easy to see why. The big man has next level reactive athleticism as he quickly and easily mirrors pass rushers while playing with active hands. In the run game, Kowalik is a rangy player who can pull and deliver big hits on his target leading to massive running lanes. Luca also has the next level strength to reset the line of scrimmage downfield. I’m a big fan of his film. Check him out! Major steal! Luca’s Senior Season
Trevor Gray Trevor Gray 6'5" | 290 lbs | OL Greenfield | 2022 State WI , 6’5″ 290- Greenfield
One of the biggest prospects still available is the monster on the Greenfield OL. Trevor currently holds offers from Concordia- St. Paul, and Northern Michigan. A short list for a very talented athlete. The first team All- Conference player has an intriguing blend of athleticism and toughness. He can easily get to the second level or reach the outside shoulder of the contain defender, and then on the next play drive a DL straight back off the ball and bury them into the ground. I believe Trevor is just scratching the surface on his potential! He can be a major piece of an OL. Trevor’s Senior Season
Samuel Wallace Samuel Wallace 6'2" | 260 lbs | OL Onalaska | 2022 State WI , 6’2″ 260- Onalaska
Another available 2022 OL is the Onalaska product. I was able to watch Samuel in person and came away impressed with his play. While not having the elite size, Wallace has been able to have a big impact in the trenches. I am confident he can continue that impact into the next level. He currently holds an offer from Dordt University. The under the radar prospect has a lot of traits to work with. He has experience at RT, LT, and LG this season alone. I believe Samuel projects best at guard at the next level. That way he can utilize his strengths of short area quickness, power, and balance. Samuel does a solid job of keeping his base wide, strong, and underneath him so he can move defensive linemen after quickly getting hands on and leverage. This dude is looking like as teal who should be on more D3 level schools. Samuel’s Senior Season
Joseph Kallies Joseph Kallies 6'2" | 305 lbs | OL Wisconsin Lutheran | 2022 State WI , 6’2″ 305- Wisconsin Lutheran
Joseph put together a nice senior season. He has currently earned offers from St. Norbert’s College and Ellsworth. The senior guard is fun to watch! HIs film is full of him making highlight blocks on pulls where he destroys unsuspecting defenders. Joseph has the perfect mentality for the next level as he looks to put every defender through the turf. The range is unquestioned as he is able to pull all the way down the line and hit his target in the snap of a finger leaving little time for the defender to make him miss. This dude is a tone setter, and will be at the next level! Watch the tape on this one! Joseph’s Senior Season
Brock Tennies Brock Tennies 6'2" | 260 lbs | OL Slinger | 2022 State WI , 6’2″ 275- Slinger
The back to back Second Team All- Conference player is very under the radar. Tennies doesn’t seem to hold an offer. That’s surprising considering the size, experience, and success that he has had over his high school career. ADd in a 3.2 GPA and you have a student athlete who should have more interest than he does. The guard does a good job in tight quarters as well as getting to the second level. Brock also made an impact on defense. He has the athleticism to be a contributor at the D3 level in my eyes. He should get a few more looks as teams finish off their 2022 recruiting. He is worth the look. Brock’s Senior Season
Darrin Lowney Darrin Lowney 6'1" | 270 lbs | OL Superior | 2022 State WI , 6’1″ 270- Superior
I am no stranger to Darrin’s tape. He was a top performer on nearly a weekly basis as an upperclassmen. He currently holds offers from Benedictine and St. Scholastica. I’m surprised there aren’t more as the compact big man played guard and center this season where he was able to use his consistently strong base to walk IDL off the ball with double teams. His initial get off was a major key for him as he was able to get a good initial punch and get his hands inside quickly so he could get leverage on his opponent. Give this kid a look or he will be stolen. Darrin vs Chippewa Falls
