As signing day nears, many players in the greater Kansas City region are weighing offers from a variety of schools or prep academies. Without further delay, here is a quick rundown of some area players that have tweeted their scholarship offers. Park Hill South TE [player_tooltip player_id="172619" first="Jack" last="Bjorn"] hasn’t made up his mind but the 6-foot-5 target likely will be headed to a Division I school in the upcoming days. He visited Manhattan, Kansas, on Wednesday, 26. This past weekend, Bjorn visited Ames, Iowa to check out Iowa State. Those were two of his top five choices. The others are Missouri, Kansas and Toledo. Park Hill South OL [player_tooltip player_id="179113" first="Ethan" last="Hellebusch"], Bjorn and James ‘Sticks’ Williams all visited Columbia on Jan. 22. Williams received a preferred walk-on invitation from South Dakota on Jan. 24. He listed his top six as Missouri Southern, K-State, Iowa Central, Kansas, Missouri and Murray State. This is the second offer for the 6-foot-2, 180-pounder, following MidAmerica Nazarene. Lingiger threw for 1,688 yards and 15 touchdowns this season. He set the record for the most passing yards in a game (396) and finished with the highest career completion percentage (67 percent) for Liberty. Lee’s Summit North’s DB Alphonso Hodge, a three-time all-conference pick, visited Cornell College. He holds a JUCO offer from Phenix City Community College, located in Mobile, Alabama. Raytown South WR Shawndale Ross (6-2, 185) picked up an offer from Baker University. That came six days after he got his first offer from fellow NAIA school MidAmerica Nazarene. First-team all-state and two-time all-conference pick OG Nick Vaccaro of Smithville has visited Division II William Jewell, NAIA MidAmerica Nazarene and Division III Illinois College in recent weeks. He holds offers from the latter two. Lincoln College Prep ATH Michael Henderson picked up an offer from Missouri Valley College.
