The OK-Green is full of talent and state championship-caliber teams. We arguably have three powerhouse programs in the Green with others on their way up. It's a long way until the season kicks off, but we do have a glimpse of each team's schedule. With that, let's look at my predicted standings.
8-1 Muskegon
8-1 Mona Shores
6-3 Zeeland West
6-3 Union
5-4 Zeeland East
5-4 Reeths-Puffer
1-8 Holland
1-8 Wyoming
Muskegon
The Big Reds return amazing talent, and some of the biggest graduating talents are being easily replaced. I have them falling to De La Salle in an early battle of the titans but later defeating Mona Shores, winning the OK-Green, and making a semifinal run at the very least. With the best Running Back in the C/O 2024 ([player_tooltip player_id="241282" first="Jake" last="Price"]), One of the best athletes in the state ([player_tooltip player_id="253303" first="Destin" last="Piggee"]), emerging star QB [player_tooltip player_id="274755" first="M’Khi" last="Guy"], and an elite offensive line led by [player_tooltip player_id="253306" first="Karl" last="Brooks"], [player_tooltip player_id="253307" first="Miguel" last="Botello"], Muskegon is going to be a nightmare to gameplan against, and I don’t see any defense in the state stopping them.
Mona Shores

I have Mona Shores coming in 2nd in the OK-Green, with their only loss being against Muskegon at the end of the regular season. The Sailors will be improved from a bit of a "down year" last season. They retain great talents such as [player_tooltip player_id="243090" first="Sam" last="Wahlberg"], [player_tooltip player_id="243089" first="Dahmir" last="Farnum"], [player_tooltip player_id="243091" first="CJ" last="Ivy"], and others. This team will be terrifying to face against, and I can see them as a state championship contender again.

Zeeland West
The Dux have always been good, and I don't see that changing anytime soon. Their schedule looks tougher than most with non-conference games, including Cedar Springs and Lakeshore, though I see the Dux splitting those two games and going on to losing against the two teams above them.
Union
I see Union making yet another giant leap as they did in 2021. A large city school, Union, has immense talent long been untapped. With a new culture being built by a new coaching staff, the Redhawks will continue to soar high.
I'm looking forward to seeing the progression of QB Tommy Stevens, as well as some of the great young talents such as Miguel Rodriguez and [player_tooltip player_id= "253312" first= "DJ" last= "Nixon"].
Zeeland East
The Chix have been a bit inconsistent since the departure of Head Coach Derek Pennington. I don't see many signs that they will improve much, but I also don't see signs of decline. 2022 will be a gut check year for Zeeland East. Games against Union, Zeeland West, and Reeths-Puffer will be significant tests.
Reeths-Puffer
I see the Rockets doing alright but not amazing under first-year head coach Cody Kater. As we all know, the Muskegon area is full of talent, and the Rockets have plenty of their own talent with Tayte Vanderleest, [player_tooltip player_id="253315" first="Brody" last="Johnson"], [player_tooltip player_id="253314" first="Bryce" last="Ross"], among others. In general, I feel like Union, Zeeland East, and Reeths-Puffer are pretty equally matched, and I may have to make my way to one of those league matchups.
Holland
Holland is in a rut. The last time the Dutch won more than two games in a single season was in 2017. I wish them the best, but I don't see them improving much.
Wyoming
A similar boat as Holland, Wyoming, has some things to figure out. This team has some guys who can play, but they need to bring it all together and find a way to win some games.
