The Tigers of Fayetteville are excited about this season and poised for a deep playoff run towards a state title and a big reason for that excitement is because of Willoughby. A tremendous athlete with size and make you miss abilities, Willoughby is a dangerous offensive threat that will be manning the quarterback position where he is currently developing at a good rate. Handling signal caller duties may very well be his future but Willoughby is such a good athlete that he could develop at multiple positions on the next level that we must leave him in this prospect group for the time being. If Willoughby shows enhanced improvement this Fall at quarterback, he will be moved and you should see an increase with his recruitment but this dude is highly talented!

Sam Willoughby Sam Willoughby 6'6" | 190 lbs | ATH Fayetteville | 2025 State TN is a 6-foot-6, 190-pound, amazing athlete that played QB his sophomore year out of Fayetteville High School. He is super long and explosive with the ball in his hands with long strides which equates to very good foot speed. At quarterback, he is accurate at all three levels with solid mechanics and makes good throws while on the move. For a guy of his stature, Willoughby possesses high end lateral agility and is very smooth. Overall, he is more than an athlete, being a good football that can sling a football with touch and zip.
