Indiana’s Best Up and Coming 2024 Offensive Linemen

Every great team starts in the trenches upfront. This next generation of offensive linemen in Indiana has the potential to be great. They are loaded with all the talent they need to be successful at the next level. [player_tooltip player_id="109620" first="Zach" last="Bandy"] - Avon - T - 6’5" 275 lbs It is more than clear that Bandy was designed to play on the outside of the line and set an edge. In the passing game, he’s going to build a wall and nothing is going to get past him. He has very strong hands and is able to pack a punch. Bandy has very nice footwork in the passing game and very rarely oversteps and misses his platform. He’s going to bury his guy if he slips at all and then will lay out a punishing hit to follow. His pre-snap stance is also very good. In the running game, I do think he could use some cleaning up and I expect that to come over time. I think the biggest knock I have on him right now is his Pass Pro stance and his Running stance are noticeably different. If he’s able to clean that up and make them look identical he’s going to be a force. He has the raw size, natural strength, and is very intelligent on the football field. Bandy is a very raw, but yet, very physically gifted player who is only getting better. If he cleans up some of the minor things in his game he’s going to be one of the best all-around prospects Indiana has had in a few years. [player_tooltip player_id="109624" first="Ian" last="Moore"] - New Palestine - T/G - 6’6" 290 lbs Moore is a very intriguing prospect. At times, New Palestine will use him strictly at Guard, and the other times he will start at Tackle. The important thing to note is he thrives at both spots and is athletic, and flexible enough, to start at both spots. I imagine with his size and length, colleges will bounce him outside to set an edge. Moore is very fast off the ball and reacts very quickly. He has no issue getting up and getting to full speed either. With some prospects his size, it’s rare to see a guy this agile and this light on his feet. You can tell he’s been very well coached throughout most of his life. He finishes every single play, sometimes, he even finishes a little past the whistle I personally like a little of that in a lineman because it can set the tone and even change momentum in a game. Moore is going to slam his guy into the ground and lay him out with an extra hit. I do think there are moments where Moore struggles to get the second-level blocks but that is something that can be easily cleaned up. Moore’s future is as bright as he wants it to be and if he’s successful is ultimately up to him. [player_tooltip player_id="109622" first="Erik" last="Bedock"] - LaVille - G - 6’2" 260 lbs Bedock is a true Guard and could even move into Center if they ever asked him to. He’s also very smart on the field and is able to identify certain blitzes at the line. He’s very agile and soft on his feet. He looks much more comfortable in the running game and is able to use his upper-body strength to win at the line. He really enjoys laying out big hits in the running game and clearing the way for his guys. In the passing game, he tends to step back instead of shuffle back. If you’re on the balls of you’re feet in the trenches, good luck. Bedock does also does have a tendency to put his head down here and there and it does affect his block on that play. It is a very minor thing that could be cleaned up with just a few sessions of personal training. I do think he could benefit from a good summer in the gym just to help make him stronger in the coming years. He has very minor things that need to be cleaned up over the next few years, and if he does, I think he’s going to have his choice of schools to choose from. Santana Alo-Tupuola - Brownsburg - T/G - 6’2" 290 lbs Alo-Tupualo might be the most fascinating prospect on this list because he’s a tank. You can’t help but chuckle when you turn his tape on. He’s so much stronger and physically imposing than usually everyone on the field. He shoots off the ball and blows the defender back 5-yards before they even know what hit them. I didn’t see a single rep where his defender remained standing throughout the play. Alo-Tupuola is going to hit you and hit you again before you react. He plays like it’s personal and the defender said something to attack him personally. He has the "IT" factor that you want linemen to have. His pass protection could use some work and he could improve his footwork some but I anticipate both of those things will come with time and training. As of today, I could make an argument that Alo-Tupualo is already a D1 prospect. He checks every box that you want and then some. In 2 years, if he sticks with it and puts the work in he’s going to be able to handpick his college anywhere in the country.
