Gonzalez was the leading passer in the Trinity League which is impressive enough, but when you watch his film you see he is impressive beyond the numbers. He has always been able to make good throws to his primary targets, but this season he really impressed me with what he can do when the play breaks down. His eyes are always downfield and makes plays to his third and fourth reads. He is also underrated as a runner. Gonzalez has offers from Portland State, San Diego and Lehigh. I think he is worthy of a scholarship at a Group of 5 Division 1 program.

[player_tooltip player_id="141935" first="Charlie" last="Mirer"], Cathedral Catholic
Prior to the season I thought Mirer was just a lengthy quarterback who played in a specific double-wing system that won’t translate at the college level. But when you watch his film he makes college level throws. He throws well off the run and often makes throws to his secondary reads in the system. He is tall, throws a nice ball and has an excellent work ethic. He is 6-foot-6, 225 pounds and can definitely play at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id="141912" first="Dylan" last="Gebbia"], Alemany
Gebbia isn’t asked to do a whole lot in Alemany’s run-heavy offense, but what he is asked to do, he does well. He throws well on the run and evades pass rushers in the pocket. He has a quick release and a solid arm. The ball gets there quickly on short routes and he can throw into tight windows. Gebbia has offers from Maryland, San Jose State, Colorado State and Ole Miss.

[player_tooltip player_id="253219" first="Ashley" last="Tucker"] Jr., Leuzinger
Tucker is a big guy who is asked to do a lot in Leuzinger’s offense. He is 6-foot-3 and every bit of 200 pounds. I saw him play in person against a superior Mission Viejo team and Leuzinger stayed in the game for awhile largely because of Tucker’s play. He runs like a running back and they use him on zone reads, quarterback power and draws. Tucker has a big arm and is pretty accurate on home run balls. He has an offer from Syracuse and I think he should have much more than that.

[player_tooltip player_id="42800" first="Jalen" last="Daniels"], Lincoln
It is hard to find a quarterback who is more relaxed in the pocket than Daniels. He plants his feet and steps into throws even with defenders in his face. He extends plays with his legs and with the athletic receivers Lincoln had, it often led to huge plays. He is massive at 6-foot-5 and 220 pounds. Daniels played well against very good competition and I thought he played better against Los Alamitos than any other quarterback did this season. He has offers from Howard, Morgan State and Syracuse.
