Hansen is a primed candidate to break out in his senior year. This past season, the 5’10 195-pound junior carried the ball 150 times for 954 yards and 11 touchdowns, averaging 6.4 yards per carry. He had four 100 + games over the course of the season. Hansen is an elusive speedy back who isn’t afraid of contact. He has elite athletic ability due to elite speed, acceleration, and very good change of direction. Showed good mental processing by choosing the correct holes to run through. He hits the hole with a head of steam and ferocity. This kid can move. He is very shifty and has a very good juke move. Hansen uses his home run speed to run past the defenders and consistently reach the secondary. Even when Hansen is getting tackled, he keeps stays up and keeps his feet churning for extra yardage. His speed and elusiveness really stand out to me, as he deserves more eyes on him.

Hansen is an explosive back that has the ability to kick it into another gear, climbing to the second and third level quickly. He has the vision to find the hole, putting his foot in the ground and getting north and south. He can be physical at times, lowering his shoulder to pick up extra yards or making the first defender miss.

Hansen shows great vision being able to find the hole and explode through it with speed, hitting the second level and leaving defenders in his dust. He runs with a lot of strength and doesn’t go down easily, taking multiple defenders to tackle him at times. He is a player that is almost unstoppable when his team has it on the goal-line, he has the ability to run through any player that gets in the way. He will be a player that will be knocking on the door to a 1,000 yard rushing season.

Hansen has great feet and can cut on the drop of a dime leaving defenders behind. His explosion through the hole is next level and he can turn on the jets once he makes it into the open field which not many kids are going to catch him. He has a good balance of finesse and power and he will be a player that will not be under the radar for long and his stock should be rising soon. When he decides to lower his shoulder, he is a back that will put defenders on their back if they do not tackle low on him and that doesn’t help often times either.
