He passed for 1169 yards, completed 63% of his passes and threw 11 touchdowns. He also added 140 yards rushing and a touchdown on the ground. He has prototype size and ability, he has an easy throwing motion and is very accurate throwing on the run, has the arm strength to rip the ball through tight windows, he is very poised and does a very good job standing tall in the pocket and keeping his eyes downfield with the pass rush bearing down. Smart quarterback that gets to his second and third reads. He’s currently committed to Yale University.

He currently has offers from Tulane, FAU, Coastal Carolina and Arizona State University. Smith is a big physically imposing quarterback that’s flicks the ball all over the field with ease, has the ability to get out of trouble with his legs, but keeps his eyes downfield. He throws a very good fade/corner route with placement and touch. Scans the field and makes accurate reads.
