An unranked 2028 linebacker and running back out of Kutztown High School, currently listed at 5’8, 190 pounds. A relatively new name on my radar, with a smaller social media following, but someone I’m interested in learning more about as the season progresses. He has done a good job posting individual game cutups throughout the year, including two Twitter posts from October alone. I’m looking forward to seeing another one soon. His Hudl appears to feature much of the same content, although I would strongly encourage him to put together a complete midseason highlight reel sooner rather than later. Having his best reps organized in one place would make it considerably easier for college coaches to evaluate him, potentially improve his exposure and give him a better opportunity to establish himself as a recruitable linebacker.
Looking at his most recent single game cutup, he appears to be a natural inside linebacker who can align anywhere between the C gaps. He has a low center of gravity, shows good anticipation and demonstrates the ability to read and react quickly when offenses attack his side of the formation. His first rep has him aligned directly over a guard, where he diagnoses the developing run and records a tackle for loss. I like his comfort operating in traffic and his willingness to take on the flow of blockers rather than avoiding contact. He has some qualities that could translate to a Sam linebacker role, particularly when asked to handle physical responsibilities near the line of scrimmage. His compact build and ability to anticipate rushing lanes give him a foundation to work with as he continues developing.
The remainder of his tape includes a considerable amount of special teams production, which is certainly valuable, but I want to see more impact plays from him at linebacker. He looks like a dependable cleanup hitter who can finish tackles, bring physicality to the defense and help establish a tone. Those are encouraging traits, although I would like to see him become a more dynamic defensive playmaker rather than primarily reacting to what develops in front of him. I want to see more tackles for loss, more disruptive plays around the line of scrimmage and more examples of him taking over individual possessions. There are flashes of that ability, perhaps once or twice per game based on the limited footage I’ve seen, but I need to see those moments occur more consistently before I can confidently project his ceiling.
The biggest obstacle to evaluating him right now is simply the amount of film available. We’re approximately nine weeks into the season, and I’m still working with a handful of highlights from individual games rather than a complete collection of his best production. I appreciate that he has been active with his uploads, but a midseason reel would allow me to see whether the promising traits from his latest cutup have been consistent throughout the year. It would also help me distinguish between a reliable high school linebacker who contributes in several phases and a prospect who has the ability to become a disruptive collegiate defender.
Is he worthy of an initial ranking in Pennsylvania’s 2028 class? I’m not ready to make that determination just yet. There are encouraging qualities in his physicality, anticipation and ability to operate between the tackles, but I need a larger sample of defensive production before assigning him a grade. I believe he is worth monitoring, and I would like to see him continue building his film library while putting together a more comprehensive highlight reel. I’ll be checking back in as the season winds down to see whether he can show enough consistent playmaking ability to earn a place in our rankings.
