Ahern is a rising up and coming prospect in the north bay and has put up some impressive numbers for Marin Catholic playing against top tier competition in non-league play and entering into vaunted Adobe League play in this second half of the season. Ahern is a big bodied pass catcher that can separate downfield, settles well in zone coverage and is physical and a smooth mover after the catch with consistent hands and shows long strides to chunk yards downfield and get over the top. Ahern is a no-brainer next level kid that should find a home here late and is going to be a nice late steal for a college program as we near the first national signing day in December.
