Five interceptions in five games is hard to overlook, and 2027 Expression Prep DB John Ford IV has quietly been one of the state’s top ball hawks this season. Ford plays for a startup program that doesn’t face the toughest schedule, but his playmaking and athleticism still stand out on film. He does a nice job roaming around the back end of their defense at safety and has playmaking versatility as a returner and in his opportunities at receiver. Ford has the athleticism to play at the next level, and his production and upside make him an under-the-radar prospect college programs should get familiar with.
