<p class="text-gray-700">Castoras, a fullback, ran for 206 yards and three touchdowns on 25 attempts as Class B Marshwood remained unbeaten after four games by winning a back-and-forth affair with Class A Noble, 52-51. Noble took a 51-44 lead with 2.54 to play, but Castoras made it a one-point game when he scored on a 39-yard run with 1:56 remaining. Quarterback Michael Sbrizza addded the two-point conversion that capped the scoring. Marshwood ran the ball 45 times for 384 yards in the win.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Miniutti was Noble's most productive offensive player in its 52-51 loss to Marshwood. He runs with power, but is also shifty and gained 243 yards on 17 carries in the loss. He also scored on runs of 72, 3 and 73 yards. Miniutti's 73-yard touchdown run plus quarterback Mark Lapointe's two-point conversion put the Knights up 51-44 with 2:54 to play. Lapointe rushed for 173 yards and three TDs in the loss.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Salamone ran for 188 yards and three touchdowns on 20 carries to help South Portland move its record to 2-2 by beating Cheverus 27-20. The game was tied, 20-20, midway through the fourth quarter and South Portland faced a fourth-and-10 situation from its own 46-yard line. Salamone lined up as the punter, took the snap and swept around right end for a 46-yard gain. Two plays later he scored the game's final touchdown on a 9-yard run. The Red Riots have won two in a row since opening the season with losses to Class A powers Bonny Eagle and Thornton Academy.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Wyman returned a kickoff 80 yards for a touchdown, caught seven passes for 90 yards and had a fouth-quarter intercption in Windham's 21-14 victory at Bangor. With the game tied, 14-14, Wyman made a 12-yard catch on a fourth-and-eight play from the Bangor 15. Windham scored the go-ahead touchdown on the next play. Wyman's interception came with 7:10 remaining, and Windham was able to run out the clock. Wyman made three catches that resulted in first downs during his team's final possession.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Piper completed 7-of-11 passes for 180 yards and two touchdowns, ran for a touchdown and also forced a fumble and returned the ball 26 yards for a TD as Greely, last year's Class C champion, raised its record to 3-1 with a 35-7 victory over Nokomis. One of Piper's two TD passes was an 82-yard strike to James Tyall. Piper is a dual-threat QB who passed for 1,534 yards and 23 touchdowns and ran 465 yards and eight TDs during Greelys unbeaten 2025 season.</p>
