An Athens-area running back who will be added to the next update. McLendon has been one of the most productive backs in the region and is proving he has D1-caliber potential. The 5-foot-10 185-pounder from Winder, Georgia has rushed for a combined 393 yards and two touchdowns through his first three games. He ran through defenders in week one, rushing for 93 yards and one touchdown during a tough win against Apalachee. He ran hard against in a week two loss to North Hall, carrying the ball17 times for 148 yards. Then in week three, the tackle-breaking back ran for an impressive 152 yards and one touchdown during a win over Upson-Lee. He’s playing extremely well and doesn’t appear to be slowing down anytime soon.
