Washington's Top Performers Week 2

Each week we will highlight Washington's top performers which includes athletes from all classifications. Stats are not always readily available, so please feel free to send over any relevant info talking on individual or team achievements.         [player_tooltip player_id='995881' first='JT' last='Williams'] 28' RB Lincoln      Williams is one of the top two-way threats in the state of Washington for the 2028 class. He showed that last Friday scoring four different ways, including rushing, receiving, an INT return, and a fumble recovery, in the 56-14 win over Yelm.    [player_tooltip player_id='2398867' first='Sosaia' last='Sekona'] 30' TE, [player_tooltip player_id='1605386' first='Luke' last='Parker'] 27' ATH, [player_tooltip player_id='985352' first='Briytan' last='Bailey'] 28' RB Puyallup   This was a big 32-14 win for Puyallup over Bellevue, with both teams being state title favorites at that their individual classification levels. Sekona is an elite freshman TE at 6-3 210. Both him and top athlete [player_tooltip player_id='1605386' first='Luke' last='Parker'] caught a TD pass, with Bailey running for (2) more this week.     [player_tooltip player_id='984855' first='AJ' last='Tuivaiave'] 28' QB/ [player_tooltip player_id='937738' first='Kase' last='Betz'] 27' WR Graham Kapowsin      The 3* QB came back in a big way as expected after the loss to Lake Stevens in week 1. Tuivaiave helped GK to the 48-11 win over Richland, hitting on 16/21 passes for 291 yards and 5 TDs/0 INTs. The Montana St commit Betz caught 6 passes for 133 yards and 3 touchdowns all in the first half.    [player_tooltip player_id='2381194' first='Ibrahima' last='Diallo'] 27' RB, [player_tooltip player_id='2398878' first='David' last='Ukwu'] 28' RB/LB, [player_tooltip player_id='2398869' first='Aden' last='Carr'] 27' FS Olympia   Diallo once again had another breakout performance in week 2, going for 219 yards and 2 touchdowns. The 6-1 220-pound junior Ukwu is a deadly counterpart on both sides of the football. He rushed 6 times for 36 yards and 3 TD's, making 6 tackles with 2 TFLs on D. Carr was another defensive standout at Safety, finishing with 8 tackles, 1 INT, 2 PBUs, and 2 forced fumbles.    [player_tooltip player_id='985355' first='Amosa' last='Masaniai'] 28' SS/RB Emerald Ridge     Masaniai is one of the top recruits in Washington for the 2028 class. He did his thing on offense, carrying the ball 11 times for 77 yards and 2 Tds in the 28-18 win over Kentwood. He has multiple D1 offers and projects on D but could be a 1000+ yard back if given the touches.    [player_tooltip player_id='1188077' first='Tayven' last='Collins'] 27' ATH Federal Way     New Mexico has to be ECSTATIC with Collins commitment. The standout Safety did a little bit of everything on Friday scoring 3 touchdowns (2 receptions, 1 punt return) with Fed Way winning in convincing fashion 48-0 over Kentlake.    [player_tooltip player_id='984867' first='Jayden' last='Baum'] 28' QB, [player_tooltip player_id='986727' first='Treylon' last='McGraw'] 28' WR, [player_tooltip player_id='2398879' first='Daeshaun' last='Washington'] 30' WR Evergreen    This was a statement game for Evergreen in the 42-28 win over Union. Baum is a big QB who can throw the rock, finishing 15/19 for 314 yards and 4 touchdowns. McGraw has been a huge addition for the Plainsmen after making the move from Heritage. He finished with 126 yards and 3 TDs with one of the nation's top freshman Washington adding 103 receiving yards and a TD to go with 9 tackles.     [player_tooltip player_id='635258' first='Thor' last='Brody'] 27' RB / [player_tooltip player_id='1605392' first='Ben' last='Druckman'] 27' QB Camas       Brody is the key if the Papermakers want to make a run come playoff time. The 1st team all-league RB had an impressive night, rushing 23 times for 154 yards and 3 TDs in the 41-14 win at Curtis. Druckman hit on 74% of his passes (14/19) for 233 yards and 2 TDs.   [player_tooltip player_id='2398877' first='Micah' last='Knell'] 28' WR/ [player_tooltip player_id='1906029' first='Griffin' last='Butler'] 27' WR Wenatchee   We talked on the baseball standout Butler last year, with his junior teammate Knell being very similar in stature at 6-3 180. The two combined to catch 18 passes for 205 yards and a touchdown by [player_tooltip player_id='2398877' first='Micah' last='Knell'], in the 27-12 win over Lake Washington.    [player_tooltip player_id='1906030' first='Drew' last='Sorensen'] 29' QB, [player_tooltip player_id='2398868' first='Leivale' last='Charlie Tevaga'] 30' RB/ [player_tooltip player_id='2149746' first='Cole' last='Sievers'] 27' S, [player_tooltip player_id='2213877' first='Andrew' last='Lucas'] 27' ATH Archbishop Murphy    Fresh off his first D1 offer from Colorado St, the sophomore QB Sorensen passed for 3 TD's with the top freshman Tevaga rushing for 3 scores as well. Defensively Sievers had 2 INTs with his counterpart Lucas picking off 3 balls in the 55-14 win over Sehome.    [player_tooltip player_id='1286791' first='King' last='Pridgen'] 28' RB, [player_tooltip player_id='2398874' first='King' last='Spearman'] 27', CJ Duenas 28' DE/TE Timberline   Watch out for Timberline come playoff time as they have a bunch of dudes on their roster. Both King's had outstanding evenings with the 5-9 200-pound Pridgen rushing for 180 yards and 2 TD's, with the junior DE Duenas accounting for 3 of the teams' 5 sacks. For the 2nd game in a row, Spearman took an INT to the house.    [player_tooltip player_id='1574671' first='Chaz' last='Strickland'] 27' QB / [player_tooltip player_id='2100476' first='Parker' last='Fry'] 27' WR White River     This White River pair continues to kill it with Strickland throwing 6 more TD's, and 4 of them going to Fry in the 40-7 win over Auburn Mountainview. The Hornets have won their first two games by a score of 78-14.    [player_tooltip player_id='1557975' first='Colten' last='Reid'] 29' QB,  [player_tooltip player_id='1789677' first='Lawson' last='Geldermann'] 28' LB/RB, [player_tooltip player_id='2398876' first='Taylor' last='Paris'] 27' LB Auburn Riverside   The sophomore QB impressed as a freshman and is back doing more of the same. Reid went 12/14 for 215 yards and 4 touchdowns in the 35-29 win over River Ridge. Defensively, the 5-9 185-pound LB Geldermann and his teammate Paris combined for 23 tackles.    [player_tooltip player_id='2398875' first='Pea' last='Puletu'] 27' RB/LB Fife    The 1st team all-conference LB was dominant running the ball against Silas in the 37-23 win. Puletu carried 16 times for 245 yards and 3 TDs, helping his team come back in a big way, after losing to a Sageview squad in week 1 that didn't win a game last year.
