Porter took over the reigns at quarterback as a Notre Dame freshman a year ago. Some of those growing pains appear to be paying off for the Falcons’ signal caller early in 2026. The 10th-grader has been excellent during their 3-0 start, which included a 57-13 takedown of of Class 3A Keokuk. Porter threw for 116 yards and a touchdown without an interception. He rushed 11 times 167 yards and a pair of scores, and contributed two solo tackles. Porter brings off-the-charts athleticism behind center. He’s an accomplished basketball player that runs with Murray Elite on the club circuit. That appears to be his sport of choice right now, but he’s a football prospect with a high ceiling worth monitoring, too.
