Kaz Melzer Kaz Melzer 6'4" | 235 lbs | DL Gonzaga Prep | 2022 State WA , DE, Gonzaga Prep ’22
Melzer recently picked up an offer from San Diego, and holds numerous other FCS and G5 offers. He sizes up with a terrific frame and build at 6’4″ 245lbs and has been an absolute beast coming off the edges. He’s a very intriguing prospect to follow, as we could still see some late offers come through and shake up his recruitment.
Bo Graham Bo Graham 6'4" | 220 lbs | TE Woodinville | 2022 State WA , TE, Woodinville ’22
Graham lands his second D1 offer from Cornell after a long wait with his last offer coming back in June from Davidson. Graham has been trending in the direction of a complete TE for a while now, and still possesses a large window going forward. He is a very efficient blocker in the run game with strength at the POA and is explosive through his strike. Big body TE at 6’4″ 220lbs that possesses a large catch radius, can catch the ball in traffic, and has been very efficient after the catch. He’s highly progressed this season as a pass catcher and has impressed in all aspects of the game.
Cooper Carlson Cooper Carlson 6'4" | 300 lbs | OL Capital | 2022 State WA , OL, Capital ’22
Carlson just picked up his second FCS offer from Portland State, as he really started to draw in that D1 attention during his senior campaign. He entered the season with an NAIA offer from Culver-Stockton and a DII offer from Central Washington, then his first FCS offer came in late September from Georgetown, now he capitalizes on that with this Portland State opportunity as he continues to trend upward.
Vega Ioane Vega Ioane 6'6" | 320 lbs | OL Graham-Kapowsin | 2022 State WA , OL, Graham-Kapowsin ’22
Although Ioane is committed to Washington, he recently picked up an offer from Minnesota, which has been the first offer come through since committing to UW back in June. Even before his commitment, the last offer that Ioane saw was all the way back in February from BYU. He is a hard commit to UW, but it is certainly interesting to see this Minnesota offer come in for Ioane.
Kateo Faaiu, DE, North Creek ’23
Faaiu started up his recruitment this month by picking up his first offer from Nevada. Faaiu possesses a nice frame at 6’3″ 225lbs with solid length and has been very impressive off the edges. Plus athleticism with a strong arsenal of pass rush moves, as he has been a mismatch against OT’s. He’s also shown the ability to beat opponents with power, and knows how to generate space with a nice initial shock to give himself room to work. Overall an impressive prospect who is just beginning a long recruitment road.
Leo Pulalasi Leo Pulalasi 6'1" | 205 lbs | ATH Lakes | 2023 State WA , LB, Lakes ’23
Pulalasi also starts the clock on his recruitment by picking up his first offer from Portland State. Pulalasi has been a swiss army knife for Lakes, contributing on all dimensions of the game. He holds a productive stat line which includes 931 yards rushing with 13 TD’s, 21 receptions for 380 yards and 5 TD’s, 216 yards passing with 2 TD’s, 23 tackles, and an INT. A very dynamic player all around that projects to see the offers flood in within the near future given his versatility and raw ability.
