On the defensive side of the ball for CBC, senior defensive back Lucas McAllister Lucas McAllister 6'1" | 200 lbs | DB CBC | 2023 State MO stood out to me the most. McAllister lined up at safety and was all over the field making plays against the run. He did a great job of reading the play and coming downhill to fill the running lane with a sense of urgency. Once he got to the ball carrier, he showed that he is a very reliable open field tackler and brought a ton of physicality with his tackles. He was also very reliable in coverage, showing great route recognition skills and the ability to break on the ball to break up passes. Lucas is committed to Indiana State and I expect him to be an impact player for them on defense.
