Shelton is the number three rusher in the state through the first five weeks of the season and has been on a tear coming off a solid junior season campaign for Marsing. He is a good change of pace back that runs hard for his size, gets downhill quickly and looks for contact in the hole and is tough to take down in one on one situations. Shelton displays he can catch the ball out of the backfield and makes plays in space while quickly knifing upfield and gain positive yards. Heading into week 6 he has rushed for just under 700 yards and 7 touchdowns while adding some good receiving work as well. Look for some D3 schools to come in and offer once the year comes to a close and we approach the first signing day.
