Key Players to Watch in Traverse City Central vs South Lyon

On defense, he does a great job of locating the football in the air and then running under to take the interception. At the receiver position, Bourdo has been able to make big gains on end arounds, short throws and deep throws. You can tell Bourdo is a very intelligent player and has been well-coached. He is so good at manipulating defensive backs, especially on go routes, getting them to turn around so they can’t locate the football. At quarterback, Burnham has the size, speed, and strength to take over a football game. Once he gets in the open field he is nearly impossible to bring down with one guy. Burnham has a very strong arm and can throw the football on a line. Traverse City Central loves to call designed runs for Burnham. It will be interesting to see how many times <strong>Josh Burnham’s </strong>number will be called in this game. <strong>#11 Braden Fracassi </strong>| QB | 2023 | South Lyon | <a href="http://www.hudl.com/v/2GPGJp">Hudl</a> <strong>Braden Fracassi</strong> does a great job of always looking to make plays at the quarterback position. He is great at rolling out both to his right and left and keeping his eyes downfield. He is not afraid to sit in the pocket and release the football shortly after taking a hit. <strong>Braden Facassi </strong>throws with great touch and accuracy as well. He will be a key factor in this game and is definitely a player to watch. <strong>#2 Tommy Donovan </strong>| RB/DB | 2023 | South Lyon | <a href="http://www.hudl.com/video/3/13438502/61585f4215f5a70bd8e65804">Hudl</a> Donovan is a great all-around running back. He has been utilized in the running game and in the passing game. He is an elusive runner who also has good breakaway speed. Donovan shows a lot of good patience when running the football. South Lyon would love to stay balanced in this football game and the ability gets the run game going with Donovan will be crucial. Don't be surprised if they turn to Donovan early to try to establish the run game. This has the makings to be a great football game. These teams have been flawless all year and it will be a shame that someone will have to lose. I will be anxious to see who comes out on top of this state semi-final game.
