Collier is a good tackler who can shed blocks, seal off the perimeter and wrap up, and isn't afraid to stick his nose in a pile to help clean up the play. In a rematch of last year's Class 4A state championship against Roncalli, the 5-foot-10, 205-pound safety and running back scored the game-winning two-point conversion to give Dwener a 15-14 overtime victory over the Royals. Neylon displays great speed, burst, change-of-direction, and gear change at the second level. He has good balance in space and finishes forward on contact. Perhaps that was no more evident than during the team's opening 48-25 win over Lawrence North, where the 5-9, 185-pound tailback rushed for 225 yards on 35 carries.
