Proven Playmakers and Rising Prospects to Watch this Fall

<p>In this report, we evaluate five Kansas prospects who are already college-level talent or are developing their craft with potential to play at the next level. From classes 2027-2029, here are five athletes to watch this season. </p>    <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='2076017' first='Storm' last='Young'] brings experience at wide receiver, defensive back, and running back. The senior has been developing his craft this offseason, and his ability to overcome adversity is noteworthy in action. </p>   <p>Defensively, he's sticky and physical with a short-memory when it comes to the "next play" mentality. He currently has offers from Dodge City CC, Butler, McPherson, Benedictine, and Friends University. Green has the potential to play at a high level at the next level. </p>   <p>Green is lengthy, engaging with solid use of hands to punch, create leverage, and shed to make plays in the backfield. DeLuna plays in a run-heavy, option offense where his run blocking is consistently on display.</p>   <p>His pass blocking will need refinement and work, but he plays through the whistle on combo blocks and down blocks. The Andale prospect showcases drive and active feet at the point of attack. He primarily lines up at strong safety but has experience rotating throughout the secondary in his career. Beck is going to garner more attention this fall. </p>   <p>He displays good read-and-react ability in the deep thirds, playing zone, and flipping his hips in transition effectively. He flashes the athletic ability to improvise, pocket mobility, and be a threat in all phases. </p>   <p>He succeeds in RPOs and quarterback-designed runs. He's able to attack the short level of the field with solid velocity.
