Maximus Webster Maximus Webster 6'1" | 225 lbs | QB Westfield | 2022 State IN – Westfield – QB – 6’2” 183 lbs
Westfield came in confident and strong right out of the gate. Webster took Westfield right down the field on the first drive. He’s a strong QB who is very confident in the pocket. He’s very accurate and great with timing. He’s also a good enough athlete to run when things break down. Webster had over 200 yards and 2 total scores on the night.
Micah Hauser – Westfield – 5’10” 180 lbs
Hauser is a true workhorse back who gets better as the game goes on. He’s a fantastic athlete and is great at creating extra yards and making something out of nothing. Carroll didn’t have an answer for him in the first half as he gashed them and bled the clock dry. Hauser rushed for over 100 yards and scored 2TDs on the night.
Trevon Hatchett – Westfield – ATH – 5’10 190 lbs
Hatchett is Westfield’s best athlete and they just like to get the ball in his hands with plenty of space in front of him. He lines up all over the field and it’s going to make place for them whenever they call his number. He was there leading receiver on the night and finished with over 100 scrimmage yards and 2 TDs.
Jeff Becker Jeff Becker 6'0" | 195 lbs | QB Carroll | 2022 State IN – Carroll – QB – 6’1” 195 lbs
Becker started slow and took a while to get going. It wasn’t really until the 3rd QTR that he found his groove. The cold weather and heavy blitz was bothering him early on. On their first drive of the 2nd half Becker dropped a beautiful ball into the bucket for a score. He finished the night with over 200 passing yards and 2 TDs.
Nate Starks – Carroll – RB – 5’9” 140 lbs
Starks, a freshman, had to step up and be the guy on Friday. There were some learning curves and a few MA’s early but he righted the ship. Starks is going to be a very dynamic back for Carroll in the coming years. He’s going to develop, put weight on, and get better. He rushed for over 100 yards on the night and earned the trust of the coaching staff. He also added over 50 yards in the passing game and is willing to go over the middle and take a hit.
Aj Lazoff – Carroll – RB/WR
Carroll was missing its leading rusher and receiver and Lazoff stepped up in the passing game. He was Becker’s favorite target and they got dialed in later in the game. They found some chemistry on the field and were able to connect on a long TD score. Lazoff crossed the century mark and has his score on the night.
