Wren is a smooth route runner with minimal wasted motion throughout his routes. He is a significant threat for yards after the catch due to his elusiveness, lateral quickness, and burst. His body control, balance, and hand-eye coordination enable him to adjust mid-route effectively. He’ll stretch the field and take the top off a defense. They face Wynne at home.

He showcases very good athletic ability characterized by very good foot speed, lateral agility, acceleration, and contact balance. Wren possesses good post-snap vision, allowing him to read first-level defenders and patiently find openings, exploding through gaps with good burst.

As a fluent route runner, he is a significant threat for yards after the catch (YAC) due to his elusiveness, lateral agility, and ability to make quick cuts or accelerate upfield. His body control, balance, and hand-eye coordination enable him to adjust mid-route effectively. Furthermore, Wren’s speed, athleticism, and explosiveness make him a vertical threat, capable of stretching the field. His playstyle is very similar to that of Joe Adams.
