Cohen Bailey – Norwell – WR – 6’0″ 170 lbs
Bailey was able to make plays on Friday to help set Norwell over the top on Friday. He took a screen pass, broke a tackle, made another guy miss, and raced down the field for a score. Norwell’s offense was humming on Friday and they never slowed down. The Bailey to Bailey connection was clicking as they took down Peru. Cohen had over 100-yards and a TD on the night.
Blake Heyerly Blake Heyerly 6'1" | 200 lbs | RB Adams Central | 2022 State IN – Adams Central – RB – 6’1″ 205 lbs
Heyerly had a massive game on Friday. He got rolling early and the defense never found an answer for him. He busted a 70-yard TD right out of the gate that seemed to set the tone of the night for him. He was running through players all night and running past them at the same time. Heyerly and Adams Central’s running game was even slowed down once on Friday. He finished with over 150-yards and 2 TDs as they got the win.
Nick Neuenschwander – Adams Central – WR – 5’8″ 154 lbs
Everything was working for Adams Central and Neuenschwander was able to add in on the fun on the night. Not only was he their leading receiver on the night, he got an end-around and took it to the house. He got the edge, made a guy miss, stopped on a dime, and turned the corner. He was gone and raced down the field for 60-yards for the TD.
Aidan Wanner Aidan Wanner 6'2" | 180 lbs | ATH South Adams | 2022 State IN – South Adams – QB 6’1″ 170 lbs
Wanner had the best game of his career on Friday. He didn’t do anything extra flashy but he just did his job and drove the car. He made a handful of good throws and stayed in the pocket and took the hit that was coming. He delivered a strike on the first drive of the game for a TD and had to pick himself off the field. He continued to roll all night as he had 200 total yards as they move on to the next round.
